A/N 2: So I changed a couple of lines because I thought the old ones weren't doing the book justice for later on. Sorry when I posted this chapter I made the mistake of rushing and forgot to proof read. But it's all good, next chapter IS coming soon I promise.

A few days later the three were on deck. Iroh was playing a game of tiles, Ylva was throwing a small ball full of rice (ancient version of a hackie sack) up in the air and catching it multiple times, while Zuko was just standing there watching the other two and at the land in front of them, when suddenly there was a bright blue beam coming from a little ways away and lion seals started howling.

"Finally! Uncle do you know what this means!" Zuko exclaimed turning to look at Iroh.

"I won't get to finish my game?" The old man said.

"It means my search, is about to come to an end."

Iroh sighed before Zuko began speaking again.

"That light came from an incredibly powerful source it has to be him!"

"Or it's just the Celestial lights. We've been down this road before, Prince Zuko. I don't want you to get too Excited over nothing."

"He's right Zuzu it's most likely the Celestial lights, we ARE in the South Pole you know." Ylva said after watching them talk, before going back to her previous activity which she had stopped when the light had appeared.

"Please sit." Iroh said grabbing Zuko's attention again, "Why don't you enjoy a cup of calming Jasmine Tea?" He said trying to get the Prince to take his mind off the light beam.

"I DON'T NEED ANY CALMING TEA! I NEED TO CAPTURE THE AVATAR!" Zuko yelled startling poor Ylva who dropped her small rice sack, creating a hole in it where rice started to pour out.

 "ZUKO!"

"Helmsman, head a course for the light." Zuko ordered, ignoring Ylva's squeal. Ylva huffed and picked her small rice sack up again before throwing it at Zuko("OW!") and walking off to her room. When she entered she laid down on her bed and drifted off to sleep.

She opened her eyes and was met with a white fog. 'Well this is unnatural.' She thought before trying to grab the water in the fog and water-bend it out of the way. But she had no luck. 'Huh thats weird I can't bend this fog away. Where am I?'

"You are in the spirit world my child." a voice said. Ylva whipped around.

"Who's there!" she asked looking all around, trying to find the source of the voice. She tried water-bending again.

"Girl, you cannot bend when you are in the spirit world," The voice said from directly behind her and she turned around only to see nothing.

"Down here." she looked down and saw a weird looking animal that was wearing clothing and was mainly white with brown stripes on it's tale and around its eyes. The tip and insides of his ears were also brown, and there  mark on its forehead that looked similar to a tree. It was wearing an orange-brown robe and a green belt and shawl. She looked at it curiously.

"And as for your question, my name is Master Shifu." He told the now astonished girl.

"Master?" "Yes. Millions of years ago animals of different species used to rule the land and could speak, cook, invent, and live the same as you do today except we could not bend. I was a Kung Fu master, but that was long ago."

"Cool, Umm not to be rude or anything 'Master' but, What are you! I've never seen your kind before."

"I am what they used to call a Red Panda," He said, "and the reason you have never seen my kind is because they do not exist anymore. Two animal generations have passed since then, where species of animals existed but died out, although some of the very old have stayed. The wolf, and the hawk being examples of the some of the first animals."

"Oh and what exactly am I doing here in the spirit world?"Ylva asked Shifu.

"You are here because I need to warn you of something," He said looking at the girl with a serious look in his eye. "Dark times lie ahead, there will be many difficult decisions you will have to make, Powers you have yet to master and perils you will need to face."

"Decisions? Powers? PERILS!? WHAT I DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Ylva said panicking.

"Hmmm, come I have much to tell you." He said, and with that Shifu walked into the fog with Ylva following behind.
