Ylva is Katara's identical twin sister, Katara and Ylva are also Sokka's little sisters. Ylva is a water bender just like Katara, and she lived peacefully for her first 4 years, but when the fire nation raids the Southern Water Tribe, Ylva is taken...
It was very early in the morning when Ylva woke up. She sat there for a couple of minutes thinking of all the information Shifu gave her and felt a little bit afraid. She shook herself out of her thoughts and got ready for the day. Once she was changed and her hair was brushed she grabbed her weapons and went to the deck to practice.
After a couple of long hours practicing with all her other weapons, she was practicing with her fans when she heard someone come up behind her. She turned around and put the fans to their throat, making the person stop and put their hands up. She smiled and put here fans away.
"Morning Zuzu."
"Was it necessary to put those things up to me?" He asked a little annoyed.
" No, it was just good practice to be on guard I knew it was you before you even came close to me."
"How do you always know?"
"I got a good sense of smell." She said with a smirk.
"Right I forgot about your little Fluffy situation. You have a good nose all the time?"
"Yup, can't turn it off sadly." she said. After that she stayed quite for awhile once again thinking of Shifu's words.
An hour later Zuko was training with two members of the crew, while Iroh instructed him.
"Again." Iroh told Zuko and Zuko tried the technique again. When he was done his uncle sighed and said,
"No, power in fire bending comes from the breath not the muscle," He explained while moving his arms as he was talking. "The breath becomes energy in the body, it extends past your limbs and creates fire!" He said while creating fire and throwing it to his nephew, It died out before it hit Zuko.
"Get it right this time."
"Enough, we've been drilling this sequence all day. Teach me the next set, i'm ready."
"No you are impatient. You have yet to master your basics." Iroh said sitting back down, Ylva stopped tossing her newly patched rice ball and watched.
"Drill it again!" Iroh yelled at Zuko. Zuko became angry and threw a kick at his 'oppenents' knocking one of them over they tried to block. Zuko turned back to his uncle.
"The sages tell us that the Avatar is the last air-bender, he must be over a 100 years old by now. He's had a century to master all 4 elements, I'll need more than basic fire-bending to defeat him. YOU WILL TEACH ME THE ADVANCED SET!" The two stared at each other for a couple of seconds before Iroh gave in.
"Very well, but first I must finish my roast duck." He said pulling out a bowl, before stuffing his face with his food. Ylva started laughing at the face Zuko had made. Zuko looked to her with a slight scowl to which she made an innocent face before he sat down waiting for his Uncle to finish.
When they were done training Iroh went back to bed and Ylva was now writing lyrics to one of her songs, while Zuko was standing near the Bow of the ship watching for any sign of his prey. it was midday and Ylva was was halfway through her song when she heard a high pitched whistle and looked up to see a flare fly into the sky. She looked to Zuko who pulled out a telescope and looked through it for a minute mumbling something to himself before saying to a crew member.
"Wake my Uncle! Tell him i've found the Avatar." He said before looking through the telescope again and saying,
"As well as his hiding place." At this Ylva jumped up and ran over to him taking the telescope and looked where he was looking. When she finally found what she was looking for she felt her blood run cold and quickly backed away from the edge of the ship, handing Zuko the telescope again and running to her room.
She closed her door and made sure it was locked before she did something she hadn't done for months. She took a stance, took a deep breath and kicked in the direction of the bare wall allowing fire to hit it before she threw some punches.She was letting her anger and fear out by fire-bending.
When she calmed down she unlocked her door and sat on her bed for awhile awaiting their stop. There a knock on the door, but she ignored it.
Zuko was knocking on Ylva's door. When she didn't answer after a couple of minutes he opened the door to find a small animal sitting on her bed. It was fox/dog like creature big ears and a white long fluffy tale it was a tan color and had big brown eyes. its neck was covered with a white mane that went down to it's chest. Zuko stared at it for a couple of seconds before saying to it.
"Ylva we arrived, you going as your shifted form?" The small creature jumped off the bed and walked out the door Letting out a small cry of "Eevee!" before following Zuko out of the hallway to the door of the ship waiting for the door to drop.

A/N: Hey! So we finally get to have our first 'glimpse' of Aang, and Ylva's 'special powers'. So ya i found the picture on google, and the song is 'Find the Pieces' by TryhardNinja it's one of my fav songs and i thought "why not?" so there we go chapter 9 done. Also disclaimer; I DO NOT OWN AVATAR THE LAST AIR-BENDER! I only own Ylva and her dialogue/actions. I also do not own Shifu or Eevee those go to Kung Fu Panda and Pokémon.
