Chapter 4*Victoria*
I wake to an alarm. I wipe the sleep from my eyes as I look over to see the time. I groan at the six on the clock. Why are weekends so short?
"Morning beautiful." Colton mumbles as he wraps his arms around me and squeezes. He rests his chin on my shoulder. "You should sleep over more often. I could get used to waking up next to you." He places a soft kiss on my cheek.
"I wish it were that easy." I say as I break from his grasp and sit up. I reach my arms above me and stretch. "We're already breaking campus rules. We're lucky the dorm manager didn't do room checks."
"You're suck a goodie two shoes." He reaches out and wraps his strong arms around my waist, pulling me back down to the bed. "It's adorable" He runs kisses down my cheek, down my chin, and along my neck.
"Colton, we have to get ready for class." I sigh, trying not to get pulled into his seduction.
"We can be a few minutes late." His arms tighten around me, drawing me in further. He's like a drug. Always able to pull me in, and I'm never able to say no.
"Colton." I mumble. "I can't be late. I want to stay, but I can't." I free myself from his grasp again and stand.
With only twenty minutes until class starts, I shower at Colton's dorm and use the travel toothbrush I leave here for cases like these. He lets me wear a pair of his jeans which I roll up to my ankles so they won't be too long. I slip on his red sweater which stops at my hips. I slip on my brown booties from yesterday and the necklace my mother gave me before I started college.
"Damn, you look even better in my clothes than I do." Colton says as he wraps his arms around me, pressing his bare chest to my back and placing a kiss on my neck. "Are you sure you have to go?"
"Yes." I say with a smile. "And if you don't start getting ready, you're going to be late."
"I'm not too worried about it." He shrugs. "And before I forget, Thanksgiving." My heart swells a little as I feel my excitement build. "I know we haven't really talked too much about this, but would you like to spend Thanksgiving with me and my family this year? I mean, you don't have to, I don't want you to be away from your mom if you don't want to be. My family is really strange anyway, I wouldn't want you to see how embarrassing..." I turn in his arms to face him and reach up to meet my lips with his, shutting him up instantly.
"Relax." I say with a laugh after pulling away. "I'd love to spend Thanksgiving with you and your family."
"Really?"
"Of course! You hardly ever talk about your family. I'd love to get to know more about them." My phone buzzed on the nightstand and I looked to see a text from Nadine. It read, Where are you?!? "Shoot!" I exclaim, pulling from Colton's grip. "It's six-thirty. I'm late! I'll see you later." I give him one last kiss before rushing off to class.
I arrive to class a few minutes late and look for Nadine in the sea of students. If only this class was smaller like some of my others. Instead there's over two hundred people, making it nearly impossible to find an empty seat. I text Nadine, hoping her phone won't be loud enough to get her in trouble. A few seconds later, she texts me which row she's in and that she saved me a seat.
I quickly make my way to where Nadine waits, trying not to draw attention to myself. I'm lucky my professor hasn't spotted me or threaten to throw me out. I make it to my seat where Nadine looks at me with furrowed brows, waiting for an explanation.
