"Thank you." He smiles. "I love you." He places a kiss on my forehead.

"Vicky!" I hear Sophie's voice. I see her running towards me with open arms. I greet her with a smile as I catch her in my arms and hug her tight.

"Hi sweetheart." I say. "How have you been?"

"I missed you." She says as she buries her face in my hair.

"Awe, I missed you too sweetie."

"What's this?" An unfamiliar voice says. I see a tall man with greying brown hair. His green eyes match Grace's. The woman beside him has short greying blond hair that just barely brushing her shoulders. Her eyes are a stunning blue. The Valentines. "This is supposed to a family outing." Mr. Valentine continues. "Do you often bring girlfriends to family only events?" Mr. Valentine asks.

"Well as far as I'm concerned, Victoria is family." Aaron replies, and I can't help the smile that comes to my face. "And what do you mean by girlfriends?"

"Dad, this is Victoria Daniels." Grace introduces me, interrupting the forming argument between Aaron and Mr. Valentine. "Victoria, these are my parents."

"It's nice to meet you." I say. Mrs. Valentine looks me over before forcing a small smile. Clearly I was right about them.

"Hm." Mr. Valentine looks me over seeming less than impressed. "Sophia." He extends his hand towards her. "Let's return to the ice, shall we?"

"Dad, don't be rude." Grace says under her breath.

"Can Vicky come ice skate with us?" Sophie asks.

"Of course." Aaron replies. "But we have to tell you something first."

"Mom, Dad, let's go get some hot coco." Grace suggests.

"Not now Grace." Mr. Valentine protests. "Sophia, come." He orders.

"Don't speak to her like that." Aaron says. "She's a child, not a pet. Besides, I need to speak with her for a moment. How about you give me a minute with my daughter and go spend some time with yours. I'm sure a few minutes wouldn't kill you."

Before Mr. Valentine can reply, Aaron places his hand on my beck before guiding Sophie and me away. Once a few feet away, we stop and I put Sophie down. She continues to hold onto my hand tightly as if she's afraid I'll run away.

"Daddy, are you mad?" Sophie asks Aaron, her eyes full of concern.

He smiles as he kneels to her level. "No, sweetie." He shakes his head. "But Vicky and I have a surprise for you."

"Really?" A large smile spreads across her face. "Is it a Christmas present?"

"Sure, you can think of it that way if you want. Remember when Vicky came back, and you asked me if things would go back to normal?"

"Mhm." She nods.

"Well, Victoria and I are back together now. That means things can go back to the way they were, just like you wanted."

If possible, Sophie's face gets brighter than before as a smile that reaches ear to ear appears on her face. She wraps her arms around me in a tight hug.

"I knew Santa would give me my wish. I can see you whenever I want, and you can live with us, and you and daddy can kiss all the time, and you and daddy can get married, and I can have a little sister. Can I call you mom now?" Her words take me by surprise. She already had this planned in her mind. Has she wanted Aaron and I together all this time?
