chapter 15. LAST CH

Kayla's POV

"Let me go!" I yelled as Gally tied my hand together and brought me to the front of the maze.

"Everything weird happened when Tommy got here. Then you. Then her!" He yelled and pointed at Teresa. Him and other gladers tied me and her up to wooden poles at two other gladers dragged a 'passed out' Thomas to the middle.

"Why are you feeding us to the grievers?" I asked yelling at Gally.

"It's an offering." He said. The two holding Thomas dropped him to the ground. Thomas jumped up and pushed both of them out of the way and grabbed a stick. Minho ran up and cut mine and Teresa's ropes and chuck ran up with a bunch of weapons and food and supplies. Yep. This was all planned. Newt and a few other ran up to us and Thomas stodgy next to me and handed me a machete.

"If you all want to stay go ahead..but the greivers will come back and you'll all die." Thomas said.

"Hold up. So while these shanks leave and go threw the maze; basically suicide. While we can stay here and fight off he grievers and  be safe. Your option." Gally protested. We all stood in silence for a few minutes then a few gladers joined us.

"Fine go get yourselfs killed." He spat and we all geared up. I looked at Thomas and he nodded. We all ran into the glade.
We follwed Minho into section 3, then 5, finally 7.

"It's over here." He said and all ran toward the hole.

"Grievers! " Someone behind us yelled. Everything went in slow motion at people started to fight off the nasty beasts and Teresa and chuck ran into the hole.

"Minho the code!" Thomas yelled.

"What?!" Minho yelled but soon realized we were talking about the order of the sections. He started yelling out the numbers as I saw a greiver go towards Winston. I ran over to it and sliced one of its legs of with my machete. I turned its attention towards me and I turned around and ran.

I tried on my own foot and stumbled to the hard ground. I screamed as the greiver launched at me. Gladers started throwing spears and knives at it as I reached for my machete. When the grievers pounced on me I stabbed Mt machete into its face and non goo went all over my body as the monster sheriekd.

"Kayla!" I heard Newt yell and i got up and ran to the he hole. I slid in right when the doors began to close. Red lights were flashing everywhere as all the greivers were squished by the last two doors. Thomas pulled me the he my feet and hugged me.

"We made it." He whispered and i smiled. I looked over and the big circular door opened. I grasped onto Thomas's hand and follwed everyone into the door.

I looked around ad we walked into a room. Glass was laying all over the floor as was bodies. I gasped as all the dead people and at the destroyed lab. We turned into another room and there was a desk with a red blinking button. Thomas pushed it and popped up a woman's face.

"Hello. I'm Ava Paige. If your watching this that means you survived the Maze trial." Ava said as she began talking about how our word ended in flames. Someone took over our world. A disease to be exact. She said it's called the Flare.

Her speech soon ended when a bunch of men in suits barged in and started shooting down the place. She then grabbed a hand gun and put it up to her head.  I turned my head as she pulled the trigger.

"So what now?" Teresa asked. Thomas looked at her then at me. He was about to say something when a figure walked up. Gally.

"Think you can get away. Well you cant." He said and pointed a gun at Thomas.

"Gally please.." Thomas began but Gally wasn't here to talk. Next thing I know.os that the gun was and Minho threw a spear and killed Gally. I looked over and Thomas and he was perfectly fine.

"Thomas.." chuck whispered and tend fell to the ground. Gally shot Chuck...

"Chuck chuck.... no." Thomas cried and i started to cry too. Newt pulled me into a hug when another door opened behind us. People ran in and started to pull us away. One grabbed me and pushed me and told me to run. I followed everyone else and we were guided into a helicopter. Thomas was the Las to get on and i pulled him to me.

"Everyone alright?" A man asked asked and took off his mask.

"Where are we?" Minho asked asked non everyone focused their attention on the man.

"The Scorch."

Yep this short book has come to an end. I'm sorry the book was only 15 chapters long but I couldn't figure how to make it longer.

I'll make a second book one I figure the name of it. I'll post an a/n later and tell yall.
