Barbecue

The drive back home was loud. Mostly because Jimin and Taehyung blared up the radio. I just laughed at them both as they tried dancing in the car. Once we got home everyone was already gathering to the beach. All but Jin. I saw a large grill on the beach. I grabbed a few bags and walked inside to see him grabbing sodas.

"Did you guys get everything?" Jin asked. I actually have no idea. I looked over at Jimin who was bringing in bags.

"Yes. I- I mean we got everything." Jimin quickly fixing his lie making me giggle a little.

"Leigh Anna, why don't you go upstairs and change into something you are willing to get dirty. I think your pretty shirt will get a little messy at the beach." Jin said pointing at my shirt. I agreed and ran upstairs to change. I grabbed a older white and gray tee shirt and black shorts. I noticed the package on my bed and placed it on my dresser. I'll look at it when I get back in. I thought. I ran back down stairs to find Taehyung eating something. I walked over to see him eating a little hot dog. He smiled with a mouth full making me burst into laughter.

"Stop eating it all. Let's go." Jin snapped taking the tray of food from Taehyung. We followed him to the beach as Rex started chasing Jin with the food. Everyone started laughing at Rex and Jin.

"Leigh Anna!" Eunji called. She ran over to me as Taehyung walked off to the others. Eunji grabbed my hands pulling me off to the side. She wore pink shorts and a yellow crop top.

"Do you think I might have a shot with Jungkook?" She asked me.

"I think anyone can fall for anyone. Why not just start talking to him?" I said. I looked over at Jungkook. Him and Namjoon were throwing a frisbee.

"Jungkook!" I called out his name. He started running over.

Eunji grabbed my hand tighter. "How can you call his name so suddenly? I'm not ready." She said shyly. I started smiling. I never see Eunji like this. It makes me happy. She doesn't look like her sad self again after what happened between her and Yejoon. Jungkook ran over looking at both of us.

"Jungkook. I don't think you've officially meet my best friend Eunji. Jungkook, Eunji. Eunji, Jungkook." I introduced them to each other and quickly left them behind to talk. I ran over to Jhope who was fixing a radio. Finally he got some music on and everyone started dancing. I looked over to see Jungkook and Eunji dancing together. They both were smiling.

"Okay, who wants to go into the water!" Namjoon yelled.

"No thanks." Suga said.

"Me!" Jimin said running straight to the water. I started walking to it. I first let the little waves reach my toes. Then I started going in. Taehyung swam right beside me. I'm guessing to making sure I won't have a problem. I looked up to the shore to still see Jungkook send Eunji talking. Jin was busy barbecuing, while Suga was laying under a beach umbrella. Jhope and Jimin were trying to dunk Namjoon under water which made me laugh.

"I'm glad you are having fun in the water. And not afraid like last time." Taehyung said.

"Well that's because of you." I swam over to him and hugged him.

"Go back inside if you are going to do that!" Jhope yelled making me blush.

"Oh shut up Jhope. You are just jealous I have a real girlfriend and not like you who only has a pillow!" Taehyung yelled back.

Girlfriend? Did he just say girlfriend? I've never had someone call me their girlfriend. And I didn't think it would make my heart flutter like this.

Jhope quickly swam over and started fighting with Taehyung. Jimin and Namjoon had to pull them apart. I just keep laughing at them both as they fought over something so stupid.

"The foods ready!" Jin yelled. We all started going back. I grabbed a towel and started drying myself off. Eunji walked up behind me grabbing my ponytail drying it off for me. Jin started giving people plates. Suga gave everyone a soda. I grabbed a few pieces of beef and a few other things. We all lined up our towels and sat down eating. I sat beside Jhope and Taehyung making sure they didn't argue.

"Oh my god! Mommy makes the food so delicious!" Jimin said. Jin looked up at Jimin with a sarcastic look.

But Jimin was right. The food was delicious. Once we got through eating Jin said he was bring food over to the detectives. I finished drink my soda as I sat back satisfied. Looking up to see the beautiful sunsetting. It was magical. This day was magical.

"Let's all take a picture. To remember this day." Jin said as he walked back. Everyone got together. I stood beside Eunji and Taehyung as Jin snapped the photo.

"Aww! We look so cute!" Jin squealed. Jin then sent it to everyone's phone. I set mine as my wallpaper. Looking closely I saw Taehyung staring at me as he smiled. It made my heart skip a beat. After the sun went down we stayed and watched the stars. The sky was full of them brighting up the night. A song came on the radio. Taehyung reached down and held out his hand.

"Can I have this dance?" He asked. I took his hand as he pulled me up. We started dancing. Dancing under the moon light. Dancing under the stars. Dancing with the person I love. Is something I'll never forget.

So I decided to update again because this book only has maybe four chapters left and then I'm going to finish my other stories.

This chapter may seem boring to some but it is supposed to be a sweet moment between everyone before everything turns..😇😇
