4: His little sister

September 9, 3:45 pm, Natsu's house/ Dragneel Mansion

Lucy's POV

"Natsu-san!" A little girl with blue hair came running to him.

Natsu hugged her and said "Lucy! Meet my little sister, Wendy." and laughs.

I stand there in shock and say " Y-You have a little sister?"

Natsu gets up and says "Well, she's my step sister. But that doesn't matter, she's still my little sister."

Wendy smiles and greets me "Hi Lucy! My name is Wendy, I'm 13 years old, and I love my big brother!"

Natsu chuckled and told Wendy that we're going upstairs.

"Are you... My brother's new girlfriend?" Wendy asks, looking disappointed.

"No, I'm just here to tutor him. Why do you ask?" I reply.

"It's just that, Natsu has had many of his girlfriends come over. They all ended up heart broken. And you seem really nice so... I wouldn't want my brother to hurt you too..." Wendy says, getting teary-eyed.

I smile at her to lighten up the mood "Don't worry Wendy, I'm not the type to fall for lame flirty tricks like that. I'm sure that I won't get hurt, since I won't be with him." I tell her.

She smiles brightly and heads to the kitchen, while I head upstairs. Little did I know, Natsu heard that whole conversation.

"Hey Luce! Ready to do some math?" Natsu says excitedly.

"Why are YOU of all people so excited about math?" I ask him.

"I dunno, I guess I'm just happy because I'm with you, Lucy!" He says happily.

Did he just... Flirt with me?

Hell no!

"Ha! Thought that I was gonna fall for that? Cheap flirt!" I snap at him.

Natsu laughs and tells me "Damn, I thought I really got you this time!"

"Forget this! I'm going home." I say while walking away.

"No, Luce, wait!" He yells at me.

"What now?" I ask meanly.

"I actually need the tutoring... So uh... Can you still tutor me? I promise I won't flirt or try anything to you. Sorry about the flirt, it's a habit." He apologizes.

I sighed and said "fine". I entered his room and...

"WOAH! WHERE'S THE FLOOR?!" I accidentally yell.

Natsu laughs and tells me that we should clean it up together, since I'm here anyways.

"Fine. But I'm NOT touching your underwear. Got it?" I snap at him again.

"Aye aye sir!" Natsu laughs.

Time skip: 4:20 pm, Natsu's bedroom

We were finally done cleaning, and Wendy came upstairs with homemade green tea. It tasted wonderful. *Sigh*, We never even got any studying done. Well whatever. It's time for me to go home anyways.
Natsu offered me a ride home but I rejected. Instead he insisted on walking me home.

On our way home, I asked Natsu where his parents were. He said that they went on a business trip about a month ago, and should be coming back anytime next week.
He then asked me about my parents. I told him about my mom's death, and how my dad pretty much chose his money over us, and why I ran away. He looked at me with pity, but I told him bit to give me that look. He instead smiled at me and told me to look forward to the future.

We finally got to my house and we waved goodbye.

As I opened the door, I was greeted with my aunt's fairy omelet. She called it that because she loves fairies, and because it tasted like she just sprinkled magic fairy dust into it to make it taste amazing. She knew it was my favorite, since my mom used to make it too. She used to call it the Queen's omelet, then aunt Mavis found the recipe for the omelet and added her own ingredients to it. Then she called it the fairy omelet and let me tell you, it's one hell of a crowd - pleaser.

Time skip: September 12, Saturday, Lucy's house, 8:00 am

"Rise and shine Lucy! It's a beautiful day today!" Mavis yelled as she opened the curtains.

I covered myself with my blanket, but my aunt took it off of me.

"So.. bright..." I moaned as I refused to open my eyes.

"Oh come on now, aren't your plans with Wendy happening today?" She mockingly questions me.

Plans with Wendy?

Plans... with... Wendy...

OH MY GOD! I TOTALLY FORGOT!

And with that thought, I sprinted out of bed and into the bathroom to fix myself up.

*Flashback*
September 10, 3:30 pm

"Lucy-san!" I hear Wendy's voice come closer to me.

"Oh, good afternoon Wendy!" I greet her.

"Lucy-san, wanna hang out on Saturday?" Wendy asks out of the blue.

"Uhhh... Sure! What time?" I responded.

"I'd like to be picked up at 9:30 am, I'd love to get to know you more!" Wendy jumps up as she talks.

I agreed and got a drove home.
Yes, I have a car. My aunt had it sent here from the Heartfilia estate.

*Back to present time*

Oh man how could I forget?! I better be fast, I wouldn't wanna disappoint her.

I threw on the nicest dress I had at the time and picked up Wendy.

Wendy was wearing a cute, little, orange dress, with brown converse shoes.

We went to many shops and bought a lot of clothes, dressing up Wendy was quite enjoyable.

After that, we went to Starbucks. It was a hot afternoon and we needed something to cool down. I wanted a smoothie too, so we went to a smoothie shop right after.

Then we went to the park, and ate Popsicles. We ate a lot. I had a fun time, but we had to cut it short. Because we got tired.

I definitely learned more about Wendy today, I'm surprised she hasn't gotten a love confession yet.
