24: End

Lucy's POV
Before I knew it, days passed by. And those days turned into weeks. And those weeks turned into months. And those months turned into a year.

Now, I am a senior in high school. I'm 18 years old now!
I still live with Aunt Mavis and Aunt Dimaria, but Sting and Yukino moved away to their own place.

Of course, I'm still with the pink idiot. It turns out that the Heartfilias and and the Dragneels were close friends, since Ms. Grandine was my mom's best friend, and Mr. Igneel was my dad's best friend.
Zeref, Natsu's uncle is Aunt Mavis's "man". And lastly, Natsu and I.

It's amazing how time passes by so quickly. I couldn't keep track of it all.

Anyway! A lot has happened since then. Jellal and Erza finally got together, and so did Gajeel and Levy.
Mr. Laxus proposed to Mirajane, which made her cry.
And Lisanna... No one really knows what happened to her. She just kinda... Faded away.

Today is the day before graduation, and I'm honestly really nervous.
What if I never see everyone again? What if I lose contact with them?

"Guys... I don't want us to separate." I mumbled.
We were at a barbecue restaurant, to relieve some stress.
(Gray, Juvia, Jellal, Erza, Gajeel, Levy, Me, Natsu and Mirajane).

"Why don't we all move into the same neighborhood then?" Erza suggests.

"You're kidding, right?" Gray squints at Erza.

"Do I look like I'm kidding?" Erza glares at him.

"Actually, that may not be a bad idea! There are a lot of houses for sale around Natsu and Lucy's area." Mirajane puts her index finger on her cheek.

"But they're all so expensive." Gajeel complains.

"Then we'll save up!" Levy smiles.

"Alright then, it's settled!" Natsu stands up and smiles.

"You guys can't be serious, right?" I asked.

They all shook their head.
I sighed and took a bite out of my barbecue.

"I could help pay for your houses, if you want." I mumbled.

"No, it's alright! We'll earn the houses through hard work!" Juvia smiles brightly.

I sure have a strange group of friends.

Graduation day passed, and it was quite emotional.
There wasn't a girl in my grade that wasn't crying. I'll miss this school, I really will.

Since I'm a graduated student, I gave my student council spot to Wendy, who gladly accepted it.

We took a bunch of pictures after the ceremony, and we all did that thing where we throw our caps into the air.

After that, we went to the change rooms to change, obviously.

I wore a short, light, blue dress that I got for my birthday, and black flats.

We exited the school as a group, knowing that no matter how far away we are, we'll always be connected.

Natsu grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him.

He cupped my face with his hands and kissed mu lightly.
I closed my eyes and kissed back.

"Hey idiot! Hurry up!" Gray throws a rock towards Natsu.

"Ow! Can't you see we're trying to have a moment, popsicle?!" Natsu catches the rock.

"Well do that somewhere else!" Gray yells.

"Oh yea-" Natsu was cut off.

"CUT. IT. OUT!" Erza yells at both of them.

They both nodded like cowards and acted like they were best friends.

"Let's try our best, okay guys?" Levy says as tears started falling from her eyes.

"Yeah!" We all yelled in some cliche tone.

"Good luck, Lu! When you get there, promise not to gorge about us!" Levy waves at me.

"I'll miss you. A lot. Promise to always talk to me, okay? I love you." Natsu kisses my forehead.

"It'll be different without you around, Lucy. We'll all miss you so much! Please come back when you finish!" Juvia hugs me.

"My favorite Co worker is leaving! Noooooo!" Mira kneels.

"Luce... I gotta ask ya somethin." Natsu walks up to me.

I nodded, indicating that he should ask what he needs to ask.

Natsu kneeled down on one knee and pulled out a ring from his pocket.

"Lucy Heartfilia, will you marry me?" He asks.

I burst into tears as he slipped the ring onto my finger.

My friends teased us about it of course.

I laughed and waved goodbye as I headed into the plane.

I had been accepted to a college that specializes in astronomy, but it's all the way across the world.
My friends pursued me to go, since they knew that it was what I wanted.

I don't know how a 19 year old girl would be able to survive there for 4 years, but I believe that I'll make it.
