6: Faint

October 5, Saturday, Lucy's house, 4:30 pm

Lucy's POV
I had just gotten home from my part time job at Cerise's Cafe. My work shift is from 9:00 am to 4:20 pm. My work days are every Saturday, so I only work once a week. I make about 100.00 Jewel per month. I work there as a waitress, nothing special. Once in a while, I often see Lisanna come in with a guy. Each time she comes in, she's with a different guy. Sometimes, she's with two guys. I honestly don't like her. At all.

I changed out of my uniform and into my pajamas. I was planning on taking a nap, but my phone started ringing all of a sudden. I decided to answer it.

*Start Call*

Me: H-Hello?

???: Lucy, remember me?

Me:... I recognize that voice...

???: Yup! It's your big brother Sting!
Me: Sting! What's up?!

Sting: I'm coming back home. How are you?

Me: I... I ran away. I'm staying in Magnolia with aunt Mavis.

Sting: Ahaha! It's about time that you got away from that old geezer!

Me: Yeah... I'm actually enjoying life away from the mansion!

Sting: Haha, I'm glad you are. Just wait there Lucy, I'm going to drive there.

Me: You're coming over?

Sting: Well, I was thinking of going back to the mansion, but aunt Mavis offered me and Yukino to stay with her.

Me: Really?! Yay! We're gonna be together again!

Sting: Look Lucy, I gotta go now. I'll see you later!

Me: Bye!

*End Call*

I can't believe that Sting's coming back! I haven't seen him since he left home 3 years ago. About now, he should be 21 years old.

Sting Eucliffe is my older brother. He's 4 years older than me. He was 11 years old when mom died, while I was only 7.
Now you might be wondering, why is his last name not Heartfilia? Well, Eucliffe was actually our mom's last name. He used to be Sting Heartfilia, but he changed his last name a couple weeks after he turned 18. Then he left home. He ran away with his girlfriend, Yukino Aguira. Well, he didn't exactly run away, everyone knew that he was leaving. Everyone except dad.
And Yukino got her parent's permission to leave. So, they didn't actually run away, they just moved away.

Anyways, I'm glad he's finally coming home.

As I was heading to the bathroom to shower, I hear the doorbell ring. I rush downstairs, hoping it was sting and Yukino. But instead, it was Natsu and Wendy. I should introduce them to Sting and Yukino when they get here.

"Hey guys, would you mind staying put? I have to go and shower." I tell them.

Natsu looked confused and asked me " What's the occasion?"

"I have some special guests coming over." I say softly as I smile.

"Lucy's got a boyfrieeeeeeeend" Natsu sang mockingly.

"It's not like that at all!" I yell at him as I walk upstairs.

30 minutes later...

I finished my shower, and I finished drying my hair. Wendy also helped me pick and outfit so I look good for my brother.

The airport is all the way in Crocus City, so it makes sense that he wouldn't be here yet. I'm very excited to see him! So was Wendy, but she was also really nervous.
