[Punzie]

For most of the weekend I finished homework and worked on some paintings. Merida had only text me a couple of times, she probably wanted to give me some space after what happened with Elsa and Flynn. To be honest, I don't really know what happened...

I opened up my locker to collect a folder for my next lesson, part of the popular group passed by, strutting around as if they owned the place as usual. Elsa was so pretty, her hair always looked so well done yet effortless and I envied that.

"Hey?!" One of them suddenly snapped at me. It was Flynn Rider, another boy that all the girls lust for.

"Huh?" I mumbled. Was he talking to me? I pointed at myself and he nodded furiously.

"Why are you staring at Elsa?" He spat.

"I just-" I was suddenly cut off by Elsa storming over and standing right in front of me. It was extremely intimidating.

"What are you playing at?! Little bitch!" She screamed at me. My heart was thumping in my chest. I didn't do anything, did I?

"I thought-" Again I was interrupted.

"Spit it out whore!" Everything was clouding slightly, I didn't really feel faint but I didn't feel like I was present- if that makes sense. Everyone's voices were muffled and all I could hear was the rapid beating of my heart.

"Rapunzel?!" Who was that? That voice was familiar. Jack?

So it was Jack who stopped them? I know he brought me home but I was unaware that he stopped Elsa and Flynn, but they're his friends. Surely he wouldn't have stopped them then? Right?

OK Rapunzel, time to initiate defense mode. Avoid Jack-for sanity's sake.

On Monday, I spent every minute outside of lessons in the sound room. I even took it to the extreme and skipped art to avoid Jack's presence. I had already explained my idea to Merida which she thought was a terrible one.

"Look in a few days he'll forget I even exist so his friends won't either." I explained to Merida.

"That is a terrible idea lass." She chuckled.

"No it's not, it will work." I mumbled angrily.

By Tuesday, he must have realized I was avoiding. I passed him in the hallway at one point and as he tried to converse with my, I ran off. A bit petty, I know but I was determined for my plan to work.

That evening, I logged onto Facebook for the first time in a while and to my great horror, there was a message.

Jack: Punzie, are you avoiding me?

For half an hour I contemplated on my response, yes? No? Maybe?

Rapnzel: Maybe?

Jack: What do you mean 'maybe?' You either are or you aren't.

It looked as if he was really mad.

Rapunzel: You stopped them, didn't you?

Jack: Yeah, why?

Rapunzel: They're your friends, surely you would just stand there or even join in. Isn't that how groups of friends work?

Jack: I stopped them because it's wrong to bully others, Rapunzel are you that naive?

Rapunzel: Most probably.

Jack: I'm coming to pick you up, be there in ten.

Rapunzel: Wait, WHAT?!

It was too late, he didn't read the message so he must have logged off. I glanced out of my window, it was nearly dark out and I knew for a fact that my mom wouldn't let me out anyway. Was I really going to disobey her and sneak out? Was it worth it? Was Jack worth it...?

"Get in!" Jack yelled from his car. Quickly, I ran over to the vehicle and hopped in, there was a slight chill in the air and the adrenaline from climbing out of my window and down the drainage pipe was beginning to wear off.

"OK, is this a kidnapping?" I asked cautiously as I clipped in the seat belt.

"Really Punz? Tell me you're joking."

"I'm joking." I said seriously. "But where are we going?"

"It's a surprise." He whispered mischievously.

"Well that's just not fair." I grumbled.

"So is avoiding me." He retorted.

"Touche..."

[Jack]

It really hurt that Rapunzel had been avoiding me. But I didn't think it would, that's the problem.

We had been in the car for about an hour already, the sky was completely dark now and the moon was shining. Together we had sung along to all of the crappy songs on the radio but when one song came on in particular, Rapunzel's true singing voice appeared and oh boy was it magical.

[Video Above, enjoy the song :)]

Punzie sung along in her own way, her voice was incredible and like nothing I had ever heard before.

"Punz, you just made Nina Simone very proud!" I cheered.

"You think?" She chuckled. I nodded in agreement, trying not to take my eyes off of the road. "Thank you Jack, that's...actually the first time I have sung properly in front of someone." She whispered shyly.

"Woah, I feel so honored!" I gushed. She punched my arm playfully clearly picking up my sarcasm. "I'm kinda surprised your mom let you out, didn't you say it's rare for her to do that?"

"She, um, doesn't know I'm here?" Rapunzel squeaked. My eyes widened in shock.

"No way!" I laughed. "Punzel you little rebel."

"Stop I feel like this would crush her soul." She whimpered.

"Like a grape." I chuckled.

"Oh my gosh, I am a horrible daughter." Punzie mumbled in dismay.

"C'mon! Live a little!" I encouraged. "We are nearly at our destination by the way." I informed her. She glanced out of the window, peering into the darkness.

"This is a kidnapping! We are in the middle of no where!" She cried sarcastically.

"Punz you obviously trust me otherwise you would not have gotten in this car, also your sarcasm is so thick I could slice through it with a knife."

"I know." She grinned cheekily.
