[Rapunzel]

Waking up to freshly made pancakes was probably the best thing ever.

A lot of last night was fuzzy but I couldn't care less because I didn't want to remember any of it. Jack, who brought in the plate of pancakes, sat down on my bed next to my whilst I wolfed my breakfast.

"I was thinking that the two of us could just hang out today." Jack grinned as I moved onto my fourth pancake.

"That sounds wonderful!" I chirped through a mouthful of blueberry pancake. He chuckled slightly before pressing a kiss to my temple which sent the butterflies in my stomach on a fangirling frenzy.

After I had finished my stack of pancakes, I popped in the shower before drying my hair and pulling on a soft lemon sweater and white shorts.

"So what did you have in mind?" I asked once I'd sat at my dresser to apply some makeup.

"Well first we need to stop at my house to check on Emma, then I thought we could hang out at the beach for a little while." Jack explained as he laced up his converse.

"Sounds good to me!" I smiled as I raked my hair up into a ponytail. Once I had tied up my own converse, we set off downstairs where I said goodbye to my mom.

Jack's huge house was empty once again. His parents were hardly home and I still haven't met them.

"EMMA?!" Jack yelled as we sauntered through the front door.

"WHAT?!" Emma cried back from upstairs. Jack began to race up the stairs, staking two steps at a time and I followed behind as quickly as possible. With a smirk plastered to his face, Jack grabbed hold of the doorknob and barged into Emma's room.

"There's my favourite-" He suddenly cut off and I watched as his eyes snapped across the room to where a boy with black hair was sitting. "Who the f*ck is this?" Jack hissed, clearly getting into 'big brother' mode.

"Ummmm...errr...Hiro! He's my lab partner!" Emma squeaked nervously. Hiro waved at Jack and I awkwardly before flashing a goofy grin.

"Hi..."

For a second, Jack glanced back at his sister then back to Hiro, this whole situation was highly amusing. His eyes narrowed.

"Well...stay safe, I don't need a niece or nephew, you're only fourteen." Jack muttered.

"JAAAACK! OMG!" Emma whined. We shut the door holding in our giggles as Emma was whining in embarrassment.

"OK we can leave for the beach now." Jack snickered.

The sun beams were beating down and of course I graciously lapped up the warmth and the chance to get a tan. Jack however was still sitting in his hoodie.

"Why aren't you enjoying the sun?" I giggled as he pulled his hood over his head.

"I'd much rather enjoy a snowball fight, I despise the sun." Jack grumbled. Quickly, I crawled over to Jack and sat down in front of him, my legs crossed. I pouted before kissing him on the lips, our faces were covered by the edges of his hoodie.

"Jack, don't be grumpy." I whispered once I had pulled away. "Please come and enjoy the sun with me." Jack let out a long sigh before wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me onto his lap.

"One more kiss?" He mumbled against my neck.

"Only if you promise not to be grumpy, you were the one who suggested today." I grinned. Again Jack sighed.

"Fine." He smirked. Rapidly, he planted a long kiss on my lips before pulling his hoodie over his head and laying on the beach towel next to me. "Any thing for my girl."

[Unknown]

I hadn't been home in quite a while. All my time was either with the gang or college. But today I needed to talk to my mom and dad about something. Something I'm sure they've been hiding from me for nearly eighteen years.

"Mom! Dad I'm home!" I called as I walked through the front door.

"In here sweetheart!" My mom called from the kitchen. I sauntered through and asked them to sit down.

"What's going on son?" My dad asked nervously. Deep breath. You know the truth it's just the matter of them telling the truth.

"Do I have a younger sister, called Rapunzel?" I asked slowly. My dad exchanged a concerned glance with my mom before replying.

"No...what would make you say that?" He croaked, I could hear the nerves in his voice.

"No reason...you're telling the truth right?" I asked, cocking an eyebrow.

"Yes." My mom said through pursed lips. Guess I'll have to get the truth out of them the hard way.

"OK." I replied simply.
