"Thank you for the food, Abelle!" they chorused.
I smiled as they ate as if it was their last day. I appreciate that, they like my food. They looked like a pack, a family. Not my former pack, they didn't consider me as a family. It's been only a few weeks since I've been sent here. My old pack sent all of my things here. For the past weeks, we've been training. Waiting for my powers to appear. Hybrids have four major powers: fire, water, wind, and air. The minor things just follow after, right now, I have nano. Ok, I have the 4 of them but the minor ones, they come in one by one.
"Hey, sweetie," Lay crept his hand around my waist as I washed the dishes, "there's training going on outside."
"Yeah, I'm going," I told him, wiping my hands on the towel that was hanging on the towel rack beside the sink.
I looked at him for a while, then walked past him, "Going somewhere?"
"Yeah," he followed me, "training, outside."
"No, you're going to a nearby pack," I told him.
He sighed, "No, it's a bit far," he shook his head and looked at me, grasping my hands, "but I promise! I'll be back!"
I laughed, "Idiot, you're such a dork."
"Why'd that make me a dork?" He tilted his head like a cute puppy.
"Because," I stood on the tips of my toes and slid my index finger down his nose, "I said so!"
"Well, then," he huffed, "you're a bully."
I smiled, "And you're my dork. No one else's, just mine. Capiche?"
"Yes, my darling bully." he swung his arm lazily on my shoulder, going out of the door.
Then, I walked him to his car, "You'll come back as soon as you can, ok? Try 5 or 6 days maximum."
"Yes, ma'am!" he saluted.
I chuckled and hugged him, "I'm gonna miss you."
He stroked my hair and smiled, "I already miss you."
He went inside his car after we kissed lightly, I crouched for a bit and said, "Be careful."
"Of course," Lay smiled brightly, gave me one more kiss and left.
I waved and watched as he drove off until he disappeared from my sight.
"A-hem!"
Hm? Who was that? I looked around, alarmed. Until, I sniffed the air. I stared blankly into thin air, as I heard a loud laugh.
"Real funny, Jo," I said sarcastically, "real funny."
"Sorry, Belle," he was crouching, one hand on his knee and one clutching his stomach from laughing, "the look on your face...it's-HAHAHA-it's priceless!"
I pointed my index finger at him, "Just you wait," I glared at him playfully, "just you wait."
Then, I stalked in the house, smirking as Jonathan followed me, "Psst, I just want to see your expression. Sorry."
I turned to him, "Why are you apologizing?"
"I thought you were angry," He told me.
"You thought, but you didn't know," I chuckled, "I'm not angry."
"By the way," Jo pulled me back outside, "the training is here."
I shrugged, "I'm training for the longest sleep in the universe."
"Uh, no," Jo shook his head and jabbed his thumb behind him, "training. Now."
"Fine," I crossed my arms, defeated.
It's really fun to look at us, training. But it hurts when you do it. Jo beckoned me to attack him. I looked at the tree behind him, looking up to the branch above his head, and then to him. I smiled widely, it's probably fine to scratch him a bit. The others were watching us, revenge!

"You're learning!" Jo panted on the floor.
I walked over to him and held a hand out. He took it, pulling me down beside him. I rolled to my side as a sphere ball of water nearly drowned me.
"Almost had me there," I told him, smiling.
I summoned a big eagle with a whistle. I rode on it as Jo called for his own. I laughed as he struggled to settle his eagle down.
"Belle! Look out!" he shouted.
I looked infront of me, a huge tree! I closed my eyes and waited for the impact. Huh? Nothing? I am I dead? Oh, yeah, can't die. I opened my eyes, and saw that there was no tree infront of me. I looked behind me, smiling.
"Jo! Guys! Did you see-?"
What? A tree behind me? But, how?
