I was seating peacefully in my office on a wonderful Sunday afternoon, when Gabe rushed in holding a newspaper.

"Gabe," I sat up, "what's going on?"

"This came out just this morning, by the Greenwood town's newspaper publishing," Gabe showed me the paper.

"Greenwood town? How did it fly to our town? That's like a 9 hour drive from here?" I asked, taking the paper and reading it.

'Greenwood Pack took in Silverray Pack.'

I looked at the content of the news and son of a mother, this is surely Belle's ex-pack. They were training the pack but the rouges attacked them. And...what?!

"Gabe," I beckoned him over with my finger.

Gabe furrowed his brows and leaned beside me to look at what I'm pointing at the newspaper. He frowned. It was obvious that he read this before me. Yet, he still shook his head.

"Is this what I think it is?" I asked him.

He was silent for a moment then he answered, "I believe so."

"I thought the Greenwood Pack could handle them, they're the strongest werewolves out here!" I stood up and threw the newspaper into the trash can as I went out of the office.

Gabe immediately followed me, "Yes, but we are the strongest beings on the planet."

"I don't care," I faced him, "send them to another pack or something, fake our deaths, tell them that the rouges have attacked us, anything to keep them away."

"Why are you so desperate to push them away?" Gabe asked me, "We could help them."

I ruffled my hair and inhaled. Belle's sweet scent calmed me down. Cinnamon and sugar. I, having a sweet tooth, love it. It makes my mouth water.

"I can't loose her to him," I told Gabe truthfully, "I'd go crazy, I can't live forever without someone special to spend it with, that someone happens to be Belle."

"Clayton," Gabe had his hands resting on my shoulders, "Belle will not leave you, ever. She loves you to death. Both she and Nicholo do. Can't you see? She's here. If she preferred that scumbag of a regular mate of hers then she would have left already. I think she already forgot about her past pack."

I took a deep breath and nodded, "Yeah, you're right."

"When am I not?" Gabe took off his hands on my shoulders and walked away.

I rolled my eyes and smiled, "So cocky."

"I heard that!" he shouted, going in the office.

I immediately went downstairs and looked for Belle. I found her, body all bent up and her hands and feet were on different colors of the mat, with the other kids, playing. She didn't notice me because her back was facing me. But, she did eventually, when Little Peter smiled and pointed at me.

"Look! It's Alpha Clay!" he shouted in glee.

"Daddy!" Nicks ran stariaght to me, arms opened wide.

He hugged me as I smiled, "Hey Nicks, having fun with your friends?"

"M-hm!" he nodded, "Mommy was teaching us how to play Twister."

"Oh," I smiled and went up to Belle, bending over to look at her.

"Lay!" she smiled, "So nice to see you."

"Yeah," I smiled and kissed her.

As expected, she fell from her position and stood up with a blushy face. Aww, she's so cute. Then, she hits the back of my head.

"Lay! Not in front of the kids!" she shouted, getting more red by the second.

"Yeah," I smiled and pulled her out of the room, "I'll be borrowing Belle for a while kiddos!"

"We're in the middle of playing Twister!" Belle tried to escape but I didn't let her go.

"Belle," I tried to catch her attention.

"We're having so much fun, then you barged in and kissed me! In front of the kids! You should be-!"

I cut her off by hugging her, "Belle, promise me that you'll only choose me?"

"Choose you where?" she asked.

"Just promise me," I pleaded.

"I promise," she breathed my scent in.

"Your old pack," I told her, "they're coming here."

"Great," she smiled, "but I won't be cooking for them."

Maybe she did forget about them.
