What just happened?! Okay, Belle, calm your tail. There was a tree infront of me, then a second later, I passed through it. Completely nothing to worry about. Not. Where are the others?!
"Jo! Leah! Gabe! Ren!" I called out.
"Belle?" there were voices behind me.
I turned around and leaned on the tree, "Guys?"
"Belle? Is that you?" Gabe asked.
"No, this is a magical talking unicorn that happened to pass by and hear you calling," I told him.
There were murmurs, "Yep, that's Belle."
"Are you alright?" Jo sounded curious.
"Am I-?" I huffed, "Do you think I'm alright? I just passed through a tree!"
"Yes, I do," Jo replied.
"Then, yes, I'm alright." I answered.
"Belle," Leah said, "run into the tree."
"What?!" I asked, confused.
"Do what you did a while ago," Ren told me.
"How would I do what I did a while ago, if I don't know how I've done it?" I crossed my arms.
"Just run into the tree, will you?" Jo groaned, irritated.
"Fine, fine," I sighed.
I ordered my eagle to move back a few feet. Then we darted into the tree, which was looking wider, and bigger, and harder, and more painful. As we neared the tree, my skin feels like it was burning. I was going to pull the eagle back, when I saw that my fingers cannot be seen. Wow, did I just use contrasting words in the same sentence? That's funny.
Now, what was I thinking? Oh! The vanishing fingers, yes. While, I was looking for it, we already passed through the tree. I jumped off the eagle and walked over the guys.
"Hey!" I waved my invisible fingers.
Gabe looked around, "Where did that voice come from? It sounded like Belle's."
"Where is Belle?" Leah asked, "The griffin passed through but not her?"
"Oh, so that was a griffin," I mumbled, "I thought it was an eagle."
"Belle?" Jo asked, waving his hands around like a blind man searching for his glasses.
"Wait, Jo!" Ren pulled Jo, "What are you doing?"
Jo shrugged, "Belle passed through the tree without getting hurt, it means?"
"Uh," Ren twisted her face, looking confused, "it means, she's not hurt?"
"It means she got her first minor power!" he exclaimed, excited.
"Oh! Invisibility?" Gabe asked.
"Yes," Jo nodded, "now let's feel for her."
They all nodded and started to look like blind people. I whistled sharply. All of them looking around.
"I'm right here!" I shouted.
"Belle!" Jo smiled, "You're visible again!"
"Huh?" I looked at my fingers and saw them again, "Yes! I have a new power."
"Yes, invisibility," Ren clapped, proud of me.
I started to run to the house. I was smiling. I probably looked like Cheshire Cat the second. In a flash, I was back in the house.
"Lay! I've got a new power!" I shouted in glee.
"Belle," Jo called softly, "Lay left remember? To a nearby pack?"
"Oh, yeah." I said, sitting on the floor, "I forgot."
"Aw, she misses my brother already!" Leah smiled.
I pouted, "Of course, I do! Let's just hope he comes back immediately, or no food for you."
"What?!"
"Am I deaf?"
"N-No Belle-food?!"
"Don't do this, Belle! We'd die!"
"Yes, you heard right." I stood up, "No Belle-food, until Lay comes back."
After that, I went upstairs. Lay, I'm going to be murdered just because of missing you.
