The next morning, Pit awoke to the bright sight of sunshine peeking through his bedroom window. He quickly got dressed, ate, and had Palutena transport him to school early. He could remember her confusion as she did so.

"I thought you hated school. Why do you want to go so early?" she asked as Pit slung his bag over his shoulder.

"Pittoo wants me to meet him there" he replied bluntly.

"But why?"

"Hmm...I don't know, but he said it was important!"

"I don't know" Palutena said as she stared into Pit's eyes. "Doesn't that seem a little...suspicious? I mean, it doesn't sound like something Pittoo would say."

"And we never thought he'd ask me out, but he did, right?"

The goddess ran a hand through her hair. "Yeah, I guess you're right."

Pit nodded. "He's changing, Lady Palutena! Now if you would kindly send me on my way."

She giggled. "Of course, Pit."

So now he was slowly making his way towards the back of the school. The building casted a large, dark shadow, blocking off any light that tried to brighten the back. Because of this, the area looked ominous and eerie. Of course, Pit was easily scared, so he took his time searching for his boyfriend.

"Pittoo? You there?"

The brunette called out for him, but was only greeted with silence as a response. Growing frustrated, he walked a little faster, squinting his eyes to see through the darkness.

"Pittoo-ahh!"

A strong force sent Pit face first onto the concrete pavement, impairing his vision. The impact dulled his reflexes, so it took a while to process what had happened. Suddenly, a hand gripped his mocha locks tightly, tilting his head up before slamming it against the ground, rendering him unconscious.

"Whaddaya mean he 'left early'?" Dark Pit said as he pinched the bridge of his nose. Palutena shrugged as she paced back and forth.

"He said he got a text from you saying that you wanted to talk about something important, so I sent him to school early to meet you there!" she exclaimed before groaning. "I knew something sounded suspicious!"

Pittoo sighed heavily as he reached into his school bag, only to come up empty handed.

"Huh? Where's my phone?" he asked himself as he patted his pockets.

"This can't be happening. I'll go get him" the goddess said as she lifted a hand, getting ready to transport herself before a another hand stopped hers.

"No, you have a shit ton of work to do. Pit's MY responsibility now, so I'll get him and make sure he's safe."

Palutena smiled softly. "I suppose Pit was right."

"About what?"

"Well, he said that ever since you two got together, you've been changing for the better."

Dark Pit looked away as his face began to flush. "W-whatever..." he mumbled as he exited the room, leaving Palutena to do whatever it was she was doing before he confronted her.

Pit awoke slowly and painfully, trying to come to his senses to figure out where he was, but unfortunately, his vision was impaired from being knocked out. Temporarily he hoped. He sat up, relying on his ears for any clues.

"He's been out for almost thirty minutes now!"

"He'll be fine!"

"What if you killed him?! You'll get locked up for sure!"
