Eve slept peacefully through the rest of the night and awoke the next morning with a light smile on her face as she thought of her talk with James. But even though the family she had always wanted was right here, welcoming her with open arms, she wasn't sure how she could go about living with them. She would have to sit there with their impending doom looming above her head, and the problem with that is she wasn't sure if she could stop it.

She pulled herself out of this unhealthy thinking and got up. She wasn't sure what all they would be doing today, only that her mother said they would be getting her new clothes while they were out. But out where, she wasn't sure.

Eve saw a large clock on the wall and sighed when she saw that it was nearly eleven. She threw her old, dirty clothes from the previous day back on and made her way out of her room and down the stairs. She became slightly more relieved when she saw that James wasn't awake yet, or he at least hadn't come downstairs yet, so she wasn't keeping anyone waiting by sleeping in.

"Good morning, love!" Mrs. Potter immediately left the bacon she was cooking to come give Eve a hug, causing Mr. Potter to flick his wand into the air to have it finish cooking by magic so it wouldn't burn.

"Morning mum, morning dad," Mr. Potter smiled brightly at being called dad by Eve for the first time.

Eve sat down at the kitchen table with her parents, glancing behind them in awe to watch the eggs and bacon cook themselves.

Mrs. Potter chuckled at Eve's fascination before telling her about the day's plans, "We have to run to Diagon Alley to get you your wand, robes, school books, and such. We can take you through some clothing shops as well." Just as she finished talking, four plates appeared on the table, filled with the finished eggs and bacon.

"Do you mind going upstairs to get James? It might be easier to wake him if you do it," Mr. Potter grumbled, obviously not liking the thought of having to go wake up his son.

Eve nodded and headed up the stairs to James' room. She quietly opened the door and had to hide her laughter when she saw James sprawled out on his bed in nothing but boxers with weird faces on them, not to mention the fact that he was slightly drooling and still wearing his glasses, which were slightly askew. It wasn't until then that she realized they both not only had glasses, but they both had big, round, black glasses that suited their face shapes perfectly. She was the female James Potter and she never even realized it. And since Harry will supposedly look just like James but with different eyes, that also means she looks just like Harry, too.

Suppressing her giggles, she walked over to James and lightly shook him awake. She jumped back when he threw his hand out to smack her, mumbling, "Shove off, Padfoot."

"James, I'm not Padfoot."

"Oh, Moony then? I'm still not getting up."

"James, get u-"

"Of course, it's Wormtail. Your high voice gives you away, mate. It also makes me want to suffocate you with this pillow."

"James, dad told me to come wake you so please just get up."

"Wormtail, we have different parents."

"Oh, how thick are you, James? Just get up!" And with that Eve pulled him out bed by his arm. James yelped as he landed on the ground and looked up at Eve with a slight blush.

"For a tiny thing, you're rather strong," he mumbled as Eve helped him up. She only smiled amusedly at him.

"Well, after listening to you call me Sirius, Remus and Peter instead of my actual name, I had no other choice. But mum and dad told me to come get you for breakfast. We have to go to Diagon Alley later." She turned to leave his room, but James stopped her.
