Kolt's POV.
I was so cold. The moment I was out of my body and in this golden pot of death I was cold. My soul felt cold, like I was not suppose to be here, I was willing for something to happen even though I didn't know what it was. I could see my body being lifted by Aron as he went through a vortex into the realm of the dead, which was where I was. Somehow my 'spirit' followed him all through the realm and I could see how he talked to everyone and everything, how he had to give up his fear, which I thought was a good idea because seeing that he is a king, a lot of creatures would like to kill him and now he would have the courage to not let people walk all over him.
As he walked through the door with my body in his arms, I almost started crying but seeing as I was just a spirit, I felt the water around me rippling as I wanted to be back in my own body. Aron looked at the golden pot of death and I wanted to cream at him not to look, because this pot had some sort of spell, that ripped a person's spirit from their body. I knew this because we all have our legends and myths but seeing the pot through my eyes as Aron stepped into the room confirm a myth. I looked back at him and saw him take a step back, away from the pot, but then he came forward again.
"are you stupid!!" I wanted to scream at him, but I didn't have a voice so I couldn't. Suddenly I heard his voice, calling me. As his voice touched my spirit and my name left his lips I started getting restless and as a result of that I knew he could see a restless spirit, maybe he knew it was me.
"Kolt, I need you to come back to me, I need to see your black eyes staring at me. I need to know that you are alive." he spoke and I could feel myself being lifted up and out of the pot. He soon laid my body down next to the pot not looking at it at all, but concentrating on me as I was floating in the air, like some sort of magic was letting this happen. Soon he stuck his hand out as I started descending into the pot again. I felt like a electric current was flowing through me as his hands touched the purest part of my being. I knew that if I was still a normal Phoenix I would be shivering in delight. But all I could do know was tremble in his hands.
He placed my spirit over my chest and settled me there, letting me spread out. Then all of a sudden he was forcing me to go into my body, I tried helping him but it was hard, like pushing water through a stone. I didn't know what happen next but I knew I was back in my body as I felt my body and Spirit fuse together. Also the fact that I could feel my Phoenix was amazing.
I slowly opened my eyes and looked at Aron as he lifted his head up to look at me. I tried smiling but I knew it would be a while before my body would remember all its functions again, but for now all I could do was look at him. I felt better than I have ever felt before even though I didn't know why. We looked at each other for a while before Aron launched himself into my arms, head on my chest. I heard him inhale deeply and as a result I inhaled him as well. The smell of Aron was unique and I was going to cherish it while I could, before he found his mate.
"thank goodness that you are okay, that you are alive and well and okay." I heard him mumble. "but I think we need to get you out of here and get back to the real realm. We could both use the familiar scenery."
With that he stood up, picked me up like I weighed nothing and walked through the door. I didn't know how we were going to get back but with the way Aron was walking I knew he knew how to get out. Soon we were right at the beginning of this journey and I looked at the vortex in awe. It was amazing to see a Vortex up close for the first time, the colours blending together, swirling, twisting and bending. I was thankful that this vortex brought Aron here allowing him to bring me back to life. Aron stepped into the vortex again and about five minutes later we were back in Evergreen.
With company awaiting us, glaring.
