The plane ride wasn't so bad as I thought. Jett wasn't as loud. He was one of the first ones to crash. It made Sophia mad because he fell asleep sprawled out all over her, and she didn't want him to end up drooling on her shoulder or something. I'm just happy he's quiet.
Riley and Carter got into a fight. That was about the only noisy thing that happened. No one seemed to do anything. Well, everyone lied around except for me. I got up and pulled them apart. I didn't even know or care about why they got into a fight. I just wanted them to shut up.
"You two need to quit it!" I snapped, picked up the both of them by their shirts. "All of us are tired, and you should be too! I'm too tired to sleep, but that doesn't mean I want to put with up with the both of you. So either shut up or I'll separate you two."
Riley turned his head slightly to our little brother. "She's not kidding, Bro. I didn't even think she could lift you with her weak arm."
"Excuse me!" I turned to him. "This may be weak, but I can still pick people up. I did have about two to three months of training."
"I'm sorry!" He put his hands up.
I threw them back into their seats and headed back a couple of rows to mine. My temper felt like it was a bomb, and it was about to explode. My moods were getting stronger. Too strong. I could feel my emotions electrify my cicuits. I know that sounds really weird, but I do. It gives me more energy. I don't want more energy. I want to be tired and sleep. Gah...
"You okay?" Eli looked up at me, lazily.
I got comfortable in my seat and leaned my head on his shoulder. "Yeah, I'm fine. Brothers just act all...boy-ish."
"Well, they are boys."
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah. You boys are complicated."
He put his arm around me. "Not as complicated as you girls." He kissed the top of my head.
I felt so happy and warm inside. I liked being in Eli's arms. They were so comfortable. And warm. Really warm. Like heat radiated off of him or something. I liked it. I always felt so cold.
His fingers ran through my hair and then began to stroke my back gently. "You're so small."
"Thanks," I rolled my eyes again.
"No, I'm not trying to make fun of you. Plus, I wasn't finished." I could tell he was grinning.
"Well, I'm waiting."
"You're so small. But you can pick up Riley and Carter with ease. You're amazing, Bry. And I'm sorry all this is happening to you. Truly, I am."
I sat up a little. "Where are you going with this?"
"I just feel so bad for you. But you know, what? I've never seen Breili Wilde-Van Doile be so okay with a situation like this. I like it."
I looked at him, blankly. My eyes shifted from one of his eyes to the other.
"You're so beautiful." He took my hand. "And brave," he inched closer. "And sweet," closer. "And demanding," closer. "And..." the next thing I knew, he was kissing me.
What was up with him? I mean, he sometimes says stuff like this, but not so romantic like this. I broke the kiss. "Sorry," I said lowly.
"Something wrong?"
"I...I can't do this. Not now. I just..." When I was trying to figure out what to say, my father popped into my head. I felt sick to my stomach. I won't be seeing him for who knows how long. I stood up and ran to the bathroom. I bent over the toilet and threw up. The stress emotion flowed through my body. I never cried, but it hurt. It was like my joints were locking up.
