"Ayakashi's" POV:

I wipe my brow off from sweat, finshing up with cleaning the wasted Hamburger Helper. I did my best to ignore all the barking heard from those rowdy puppies but then I didn't need to after a while realizing that all dog related sounds just completely silenced themselves. Which confused me. Maybe they all ran away and leaving me back to my regular routine, I thought, smiling at the posability as I went to get an ice pack just like I told Sweet. Yeah, most of the puppies in this gang is cute and I could maybe even grow to love them but the responsibility of keeping seven puppies is high. And Keith letting seven puppies that just appeared at our doorsteps is even higher....possibly. With my pouty face I could get quite a bit of things my way. IF I decide to keep these guys, that is.

I wrap things up with the ice pack and return back to the living room...finding a bundle of fur, all different colors, laying together on the couch, snoring softly. That adorable scene almost put a smile on my face. Almost.

"I suppose that settles things. As long as they're sleeping this night should go pretty smoovely." I said to myself as I gently applied the ice pack to Sweet's ankle before laying back down on the other end of the couch with the remote. Not before kicking a blanket over the pups, just in case Keith came back, I watch TV until I fall asleep...

The next morning, I woke up early, use to waking up at this time and forgetting that I was suspended from school for the next two, three weeks. I sigh at the thought as I did my morning stretch. The house was so quiet you could hear Keith and the puppies snoring, I realized, since the TV was turned off. It was so peaceful.

I peel back the blanket I threw over the puppies the night before, checking to see if anyone left their place, and a smile crept on my face. Not going to lie but they were pretty cute when they were sleeping. I notice that they were sleeping in duos in a way. They were still in a big group but...in pairs. Sweet and Sour were cuddled up against each other. Then there was Honey and Kenichi. Then there was a trio being Kaiyo, Hazel, and Cheiko.

I decided to let them sleep for a moment as I checked to see how Keith was doing and deep he was into his sleep. I had some things I wanted to do while he slept. Like moving the puppies to my room, cleaning up the fur they left on the couch, and make some breakfest for him and the puppies cause we have no dog food. I found Keith dozing quite deeply as his shirtless self was snoring with his mouth open, cuddling to his pillow. The walls and the door in this house can do wonders with sound. Keith was snoring louder than I thought. I couldn't help but laugh at that as I went over and closed his mouth, silencing his loud snores.

I then went back to the living room to wake up the puppies. All I had to do was pick them up for most of the puppies while others... I had to shake them awake and whisper-yell in their sensitive ears. Kaiyo and Sour both woke up cranky. Honey, who was now my favorite of the bunch, woke up as happy as ever, giving me a "good morning" lick before I sat him in the basket with the others.

"Morning everyone! Sorry to wake you. Not really. But I gotta move you to my room. My brother is here and he can't see you guys. For now." I told them.

One of the puppies' stomachs growled and they all turned to Kaiyo who cowered, blushing of embarrassment.

I chuckled. "And don't worry about breakfast. I'm gonna get to that but, in the meantime, do not try to go running around and touching my stuff or I will personally shave the fur off your back, okay?"

The puppies shivered, whimpering, and nodded, all except for Cheiko and Kenichi who merely just blink at me.

I then picked the basket up and brought them up to my room, sitting it in the middle of my floor. "Do not go anywhere." I gave them one last warning before going to make a giant meat platter.
