Chapter Thirty-Five

I looked up. A man was standing still holding a bow.

"Leader Harlem? Why did-" Wolvric started.

"Don't talk, you traitor," The man snapped.

"Y-You killed Ian," I said to him. "You monster!"

"I don't need to hear babble from a Hood," He sneered to me.

"Leader Harlem, please. Everyone here agrees. Why can't we just join groups?" Wolvric suggested.

Wolvric

Leader Harlem watched me intensely before slowly making his way toward me.
Stopping, he punched me.

"What is wrong with you?! A Hood?!"

I was frozen, shocked. The second person to punch me that morning.

I noticed Red standing. "You have no reason to do that!" She yelled. "Just join together! We can all become friends!"

Leader Harlem stared at Red for a moment. He then said,

"I don't need some Hood telling me what to do."

"Why won't you just agree?! It will be a lot easier than war!"

Jack

I watched Red and Wolvric fight with Leader Harlem. He was a hard cookie to crumble.

I then noticed the most beautiful girl ever. She had long black hair, like black obsidian. Her eyes were a striking blue, electric. She could be no older than seventeen.

"Hello, I-I'm Jack," I stuttered.

She looked back up at me. "Hi, I'm Windy." Her voice was sweet and soft.

"Are you...Wolf?"

"Yes, I am." She smiled shyly.

"You're very pretty," I blurted.

I quickly slapped my hand over my mouth as my face flared with a blush.
Windy blushed.

"You're...very handsome..."
I smiled. I liked her already.

Red

I groaned. This guy....

"You know what?" I said. "Forget it!"

"W-What?" Both said.

"I'm done! I'm not going to argue with this arrogant idiot!" I grumbled.

Leader Harlem was awestruck. Watching me intensely.

He then said something that surprised Wolvric and I.
"Ok. I will."

"Hm?" Wolvric asked.

"I'll join our groups," He repeated.

Wolvric and I laughed in delight. I jumped with joy. Yes! No more hiding!

Wolvric laughed. "Calm down Red."

Our leader and the Wolf leader walked off to settle business while Wolves arrived, chatting with Hoods.

Wolvric

I noticed Windy talking with Red's friends Jack. They were really hitting it off. So was Alexandra and Anthony and....José with some strawberry haired girl.

I grabbed Red in a hug, kissing her face all over. She laughed, kissing me back.

Soon, the strawberry haired girl skipped over to Red with José.

"Red, I'm so glad you're ok!" She hugged Red and Jose caught my eye. He scowled, probably still mad.

"This is José," The girl said.
Red nodded and smiled at him.

"He's cute Val." Red smirked.

I bumped her side. "And I'm not?"

"You aren't cute. You're hot." She smirked again, bumping me back.

José

Valerie was such an interesting girl. Beautiful as well. She was busy chatting with Red, Wolvric's love.

Weird how two people changed every thing.

I shifted the weight to my other foot. Wolvric looked up at me.

"I'm sorry dude," I said. "I over reacted."

"I'm sorry to. I was rude."

"Cool?"

"Cool." He smiled and we did that bro shake.

One Week Later

Red

"Red," Wolvric whined.

"What?" I huffed.

"C'mon, I have to ask you something."

"Ask me now."

Ok, we were kinda in the kitchen, covered in flour from baking.

"Just come into the living room," He declared.

"Fine," I said as he took my hand and led me away. "Now, what is it."

"Scarlett Wilsons?" Wolvric Sat himself on one knee and pulled a box from his pocket. I covered my mouth.

"Scarlett, I love you. A lot. I love all your features. And...I'm willing to ask you a very important question."

He opened the box. Inside was ring.

"Wolvric..."

"Will you..." he took a deep breath. "Be my girlfriend?"

BAM! Know what that was? The door closing in my face.

I laughed out loud.

"Girlfriend? Yes Wolvric, yes!"

He slid the ring onto my finger and stood, kissing my lips.

"I know, I know. You thought I was going to ask The Question." He leaned down and whispered in my ear. "To soon my love. But one day."

Maybe this was the wrong time to tell him...

I'm pregnant.
