The demon, Sebastian, continued to stare at her as if the world stopped the moment they looked into each others eyes.

The demon had crimson eyes that looked liked blood in the moonlight, pale skin that fit his features well, lips as pale as his skin, hair as black as a crows wings that came to the back of his neck with bangs that framed his perfectly angled face, and a muscular, thin body that complimented his tall height.

She had to admite, he was handsome.

A sudden wave of pain rushed through her and she doubled over.

Sebastian's heart swelled as he looked into her eyes. It was like it had been shot with a thousand volts of electricity to bring it back to life.

Had this not happened, he'd have thought he was just seeing what he wanted to from his new contracty.

She looked almost exactly like he remembered her. The long raven hair, long legs, tall body, and beautiful face. The only thing different about her was her eyes.

They were so sad and heart wrenching. He knew he had to make her happy. He'd give anything to see that beautiful light in her eyes again.

Suddenly, she doubled over, holding her still bleeding torso.

He'd been so caught up by his thoughts, he'd forgotten about her wounds.

Panic set into him. He couldn't lose her again.

He knew one thing as he gently scooped her trembling body into his arms and disappeared into the shadows.

He was never letting her go again.

Maria kept blacking in and out as Sebastian carried her off to some unknown place. The last thing that'd been clear was when he'd picked her up bridal style again, but even that was fuzzy.

Was it all a dream? Had she imagined it all?

If so, where were her sisters?

She finally had the energy to stay awake after about the fifth or sixth time of blacking out. She'd lost count.

She could remember hearing voices around her as she came in and out, but it'd all been fuzzing and incoherent.

She looked around the room she was currently in.

The walls and ceiling were a pitch black color with starlight and other colored paint splattered around. It gave the room a vast feeling that reminded her of the night sky. There were bookcases, small sculptures, paintings, shelves, and paintings around the room that ranged from all colors but white. She was lying in a four pronged black bed with red sheets and a black comforter and the same for the large pillows.

She really liked the room, but she couldn't help but wonder where she was. Why wasn't she home?

She tried to sit up, but failed as pain erupted in her torso and she fell back to the pillows with a gasp as she held it.

She took in a few deep breaths, letting the pain subside before sitting up again more slowly. She took it one step at a time as she shifted her legs over the side of the bed and carefully stood. She then walked over to the floor length mirror and looked at herself.

What she saw made her shudder.

Her hair was matted and all over the place. Her skin was pale. Her eyes had dark circles under them and showed great sadness. Dirt coated almost all around her except for the black and red long sleeved nightgown that fell a little past her knees.
