Chapter 2 The new neighbour

It took me two days for me to recover from the engagement party! Lucky for me, Gina and mum were looking after the kids for me, they're angels don't get me wrong but I needed a decent nights sleep! I got out of bed and decided to go to the gym, I've been doing that a lot lately. My stomach is nicely toned and I've built up some muscular strength too! As I step out the door, a girl next door appeared.

"Hi, i'm your new neighbour!"

I turned around and faced her, she had cherry red hair, big brown eyes and lightly tanned skin.

"I'm Lauren, I recognise you your Hollie the Janoskian member!"

"Yeah that's me! Also and now engaged to Beau!"

She smiled at me, she was friendly and was really nice! I waved goodbye to her and sprinted to the gym to get my blood pumping.

When I arrived, I saw Beau on his back lifting weights, Luke was on the treadmill and Jai was at the punching bag looking upset! I went over to him and held the bag so he could throw some decent punches.

"Hey Jai!"

I said to him, he lifted his head and smiled at me not saying hi back.

"What's wrong?"

"I don't want to talk about it!"

I let go of the punching back and jumped on the treadmill next to Luke running at the same pace as him.

"Hey bro, what's wrong with Jai?"

"Ahhh um, he....its not my place to say, sorry Holls"

What was going on? Why cant I know? I headed to Beau, someone who will actually talk to me properly! I sat on his stomach with a leg either side, he put the weights back on the bar and sat up. He kissed my lips and looked into my eyes.

"Why is everyone being weird?"

"What do you mean babe?"

"Well Jai's upset and Luke wont tell me!"

"Well lets just say Jai is single!"

Oh no, but Jai and Ariana seemed so happy what could of possibly gone wrong?

"What?"

"Yeah happened this morning"

So that's why he is upset and why Luke said it wasn't his place to say! I got off Beau and pulled him up with me, I walked over to Jai and gave him a squeeze before throwing a few punches myself. I had quite a good hit for a girl, but I wasn't as strong as the boys were!

We left a gym an hour after I had arrived, the boys have been there for 3 hours so they deserved to go home.

"We have a new neighbour Beau! I was thinking of inviting her round for dinner!"

"Sounds great, what she like?"

"Well she has red hair, brown eyes, friendly and really pretty too!"

Jai perked up a bit when I described her.

"Can I erm I mean can Luke and I meet her!"

I turned around and faced him, he had a big smile on his face, I nodded to him and turned back round. I wonder why he seemed excited to meet her?

"Hey Lauren, you got a sec?"

I called out to her as we all got out the car.

"Sure what's up?"

"Wanna come over for dinner tonight?"

"Yeah sounds good, see ya tonight!"

She glanced at Jai who was smiling at her, I guess he liked her! I tugged Jai's arm and lead him into the house not taking his eyes of Lauren!

"You like her don't you, ayy?"

I said to Jai with a wink as we walked into the lounge.

"I do not!"

He said back giving me a dirty look. He may have everyone else fooled but not me, I saw the way he looked at her and it wasn't just a friendly look.

The door bell rung, I was wearing a black strapless body-con dress with black and white heels. I opened the door to find Lauren, she was wearing a peplum pink dress with black ankle high-heel boots. I greeted her with a kiss on the cheek and brought her into the lounge. Jai popped up and gave her a hug, yeah so much for not fancying her! She was introduced to Luke and Beau when he came out of the kids room.

"This is lovely Hollie!"

Lauren said as she took a spoon full of the dinner, I had cooked chicken wrapped in bacon and cheese with new potatoes and broccoli.

"Thank you Lauren! So tell us a little bit about you!"

"Well I recently moved here from England! I came over here because I've always loved the country and I wanted to get out of England! I start my job tomorrow as a model, so I'm quite excited for that!"

"Wow! So your a model?"

Jai asks, sounding interested.

"Yeah, working for a big company in the city!"

"Ahh nice, you look like a model!"

Jai says with a wink making Lauren blush.

After dinner we chilled up the table drinking wine and talking. Jai and Lauren were having their own little conversation with each other whilst I spoke to Luke and Beau.

"I think Jai likes Lauren!"

I say taking another sip of my wine.

"Yeah its pretty obvious he does like her!"

Luke says smirking. Jai seemed to be smiling again like he use to, wow he really did like Lauren and i'm sure Lauren liked him too!

"I'm gonna go now!"

Lauren says turning her attention back to us.

"Ow, have to leave so soon?"

Jai says giving her a sad look.

"Yeah gotta get up early in the morning!"

"I'll walk you to your door if you want?"

"Okay then!"

Beau and I exchanged looks for a minute. I gave Lauren a kiss on the cheek and saved my number into her phone so that we could chat more!

As soon as the door shut we all jumped up.

"Jai's in love!"

Beau shouts, I cover his mouth with my hand.

"Can you shout any louder!"

"Aww my twin bro is getting in with another girl!"

I was happy for him, Lauren was such a sweet girl and Jai needed someone like her in his life. Jai returned moments later with a grin on his face.

"WE KISSED!"

He shouted, Luke and Beau ran at him, tackling him to the ground.

"Jai's in loooooooooooove!"

Beau said in a gay voice. Jai punched him in the arm and got up off the ground.

"Okay I guess I am, I love Lauren!"
