Kai's pov

I sit with my arm around Skylors shoulder. We are watching spongbob with the rest of the gang. Skylor and I sitting on the couch and Cole sitting next to us. Jay sits in a chair on one side of the couch with Nya on his lap. Lloyd sits on the other chair on the other side of the couch.

Yes, spongebob is a little childish, but you don't get it. It's spongebob the movie. I mean the movie is the best. Not the new movie with the super heroes, but the older one. I much prefer the older one to the newer one.

Skylor and I snuggle up eating popcorn. Lloyd of course eating his candy. Cole is focused on his cake instead of the movie. Jay and Nya are in a deep make out session. I would go over there and kill Jay for eating my sisters face off, but I focus on the beautiful girl I have in my arms. I'm so lucky to have someone as great as her in my life.

I move Skylor onto my lap and hold a tight grip on her. Not really tight, I wouldn't want to hurt her. I place my head on her neck and softly kiss up and down her neck.

"I'm so lucky to have someone like you in my life,"I say quietly.

"I'm so lucky to have met and awesome and handsome fellow like you,"she says back to me.

Her phone dings and she pulls it out of her pocket. She reads the text she got and gets off my lap.

"Sorry Kai I have to go. I have to go sigh contracts to make the noodle shop officially mine,"she says kissing my cheek leaving.

After we sent Chen to the curse realm Skylors been trying to make the noodle shop hers. The people are being difficult and complicated not giving her the shop. She had to go through all this government and Financial and blah blah blah. Basically we don't get to spend much time together since she is trying to get the noodle shop.

We finish the movie and Zane begins to cook dinner. Thank the gods that it's not Coles turn to cook. I'm really not in the mood to die today. Cole and Jay go and play video games in the game room. Nya leaves to go shopping so Lloyd and I are left alone together. Lloyd looks up to me as a role model. I can tell. We are best friends. I mean I saved him from a volcano which gave me my full potential. Lloyd is my favorite out of the rest of the gang.

"Hey Kai! Can I ask you something?"Lloyd asks.

I always give Lloyd advice. It is kind of our thing. He messes up or needs help and he comes to me for advice. I love being the one to help him through his problems. It makes me feel good. It keeps my mind off Skylor when she is gone.

"You can ask me anything, Lloyd,"I say to Lloyd.

"What is the point in living if we are all going to die?"he asks.

That's a deep emotional question. If I answer this wrong it could ruin his little life. It will be my fault that he would be depressed. Oh man now I sound like a father when his daughter asks about her looks. Well here goes nothing.

"I have myself this question before and I have a pretty good answer. Life is a gift. We have life to have a chance. You must embrace the little time you have on this world before you die. Living is a privilege and we should embrace it. Never give up on life just because you think it's pointless. Life isn't pointless it a gift,"I say meaning every word.

"Thanks Kai,"Lloyd thanks me.

"No problem,"I say rubbing my hand on Lloyds hair messing it up.

He laughs and swats my hand away. "Dinner is ready!"Zane yells from the kitchen. Lloyd and I walk into the kitchen and sit next to each other.

"So what has been going on in your life Jay,"Cole asks Jay giggling a bit.

Jay gives Cole and annoyed look, "don't think I don't know what you did."

"What? I did nothing,"Cole say acting unaware of what Jay was talking about.

Jay picks up the Mashed potatoes Zane made and throws it at Cole. It hits Cole straight in the face. I laugh and Lloyd joins in too. Cole wipes the mashed potatoes of his face. He looks at jay with a face of anger but then changes his expression to a smirk. He picks up the meat loaf and throws it at Jay. It misses Jay and hits Lloyd. Lloyd grabs his water and dumps it on Cole. Soon everyone is throwing food, even Sensei and Zane. My hair is probably messed up now.
