Chapter 18:Crimson Emotion

Kat's pov

Even as I sat there waiting in silence,the memories never faded and the fear never ceased.I felt so helpless,I didn't understand why I felt like.I felt tears prickling my eyes again."God.Im so weak!"I growled to myself,wiping the few tears that had escaped harshly.Soon my fear was replaced with anger.I was angry that a tiny rock could make me so weak.I stood up suddenly, my hands turning into fists, my knuckles turned white as my nails dug into my palms.My body defied my commands to move forward.I stood there furious.Blood dripped from my hands onto the dark floor.I growled loudly,almost animalistic.Finally I commanded my body to move forward."I won't be weak."I whispered.Finally I was in control again.I walked forwards slowly,then my scowl broke away into a smile...I was free.I leapt around swinging my arms freely.The blood from my palms flew everywhere,I didn't care,this isn't my home and I would never come here again.

I was ecstatic.Then I remembered my leg,I looked down at it.I was still wearing the same clothes since I had run away....They were covered in blood and torn, revealing more than enough to make anyone uncomfortable.I eyed the dresser.I pulled open a drawer to see my clothes.It made my stomach churn.I pulled out a pair of leggings.I wasn't dressing to impress.I was dressing to escape.

I then slid on a tank top and a black long sleeved shirt.I then grabbed a thin black hoodie.I put on a pair of black boots.I grabbed my satchel and left the room, I had to go through the door,the window was boarded over.Stupid fucking boards.

I was about to leave the room when I heard forced breathing, I turned back towards the room of darkness.Slowly,the darkness flooded in,I could see everything in a crisp gray detail.On a large bed, I saw her.Ness.She was terrified and handcuffed to the bed.Oh bloody hell.She's shirtless.I instantly covered my eyes.Well now how the fuck am I am I supposed to help her now...I smiled softly."Marco"I chirped.In only minutes I was at her side.I pushed the covers over her so I could uncover my eyes."So um where's the key at?"I asked softly.Ness glared at me, cursing through the gag."Oh!"I said and took I off."Bitch!He has the key!"she growled.I nodded before taking out a key chain from my pocket.I began to try key after key after key.Not even halfway through the keys,the sound of Offender's rambling and footsteps grew louder.Panicked, I grabbed the cuffs and pulling forcefully breaking it open."You did it." Ness said happily.Before I could respond,Offender entered. Without a glance at Ness,I shoved her out the window to a nearby tree which she missed.Offender and I stared frozen at each other."Where's Ness?"he asked slowly."Who the fuck is Ness?"I answered confused."YOUR BEST FRIEND!"he exclaimed."Sorry I don't know what you're talking about.Call my lawyer."I said walking towards the window."You little-" he yelled, charging forward.I leapt out the window calmly onto the ledge slamming the window shut and locking it.I smiled brightly....then Offender smashed through the window."Fuck!"I screamed as bits of glass dug I to my skin.I grabbed my katana on instinct and leapt to the ground, landing on Ness clumsily.I ignored her screams and ranting and dragged her along.She tried to claw into the ground and stay with the murderers but I couldn't let her stay.We would stay out at the Rake's trap since it was dead until I had a better plan.Then Ness said a long heartbreaking speech.My heart still aches from it.I everything wavered and I lost balance,falling into the familiar black pond just as everything went black.
