Chapter 23:Getting a babysitter

Ness's pov

Slenderman took me downstairs to find someone to 'watch me'."Slender.I don't see why someone has to watch me."I struggled in his grasp.He just sighs."Ness.Please don't make me feel like the bad guy.I just want someone to watch you so you don't do anything risky."I sigh."Fine.But will you tell me if anything with Kat happens?" "Yes child.I will inform you." We had finally reached downstairs.Slender then cleared his throat."Ok.Everyone listen up."Everyone turned to face us.Once they saw me,they all started to talk at once."Shut up and listen."Slenderman put me down next to him."So someone will need to be in charge of watching Ness.You will have to keep full tabs on her so nothing bad happens to her again." They both nervously walked forward."Here Sally I'll work on Jeff and when I'm finished I'll help you with Jack ok?" I looked towards Sally."Hey Sally pass me the rainbow colors will you?"I asked." She nodded and walked away from Jack to get me them."Here."Sally handed me them.I covered Jeff's eyes so I wouldn't get the color in his eyes.

When I put all the colors in his hair,I backed away to look at him."Aww Jeff you look too adorable!"I blushed and giggled."Do I look beautiful?" "Of course you do Jeff.Hey Sally almost done?" "Aww you boys look too cute."I said as I sat in between them."Miss how many sugars?"

"Um two please." "Well this is nice."Jeff said looking down at the table."Hey Jack can I have some candy?"I asked."Sure ness!" Jack handed me a handful of rock candy."Thanks Jack."I leaned over

and kissed his cheek.I could see Jack blush under all his makeup.I blushed a little too.Jeff cleared his throat.I rolled my eyes."Is Jeff jealous?" Sally then handed us the tea."Thank Sally."

"No problem Miss." I took a drink of my tea.I set down my cup and leaned over kissing Jeff on the cheek."Happy?" "Yes.Very." I giggled. Suddenly I felt really tired."Sheesh Sally what'd you put in this?Nyquil?"
