The imposter

We strolled through the Snowdin Forest. All the puzzles were solved, which kind of sucks to be honest. Oh well, I didn't come all the way down here for a few puzzles that me and my bro did when everyone was still down here. I came here to find answers, yeah, I guess that Frisk's will to give mercy on Bloodfall rubbed off on me. I know that the flower told us to kill him. Well if Bloodfall DID kill Papyrus, he'll get no mercy from ME!

We soon arrived in Snowdin village, the place was pretty populated. People did lose hope on any chance of escape, huh? Well if Frisk can find a way to get Bloodfall to let them pass, then that will help with our job.

I noticed that Grillby's was open. "Welp. I'm heading to Grillby's, come join" I offered the two. They quickly agreed as we all entered the place.

"Sans! What a surprise!" A familiar voice called from behind the counter. I know that voice from anywhere!

"Grillbz! Long time no see!" I told Grillby happily, it was nice to see an old face. Made me so much happier.

"My stars! What happened? You look like you got in a fight with a badger!" He told me. He's gotta be talking about the scars on my face and chest. I...never sewed them back...heh. Now I got tears in my clothes.

"Nah, I just got into some nasty fights. I tend to cause trouble up there, without Papyrus, I can't even think properly." I admitted. This was true, I freaked out and hallucinated three times today.

"That's horrible! I'm sorry for what happened to papyrus. He deserved a much longer life. As for you, how are you? I heard from the people that fell down here that you have gone mad with guilt. Have you been able to take care of your issues lately?"

"Yeah, it's going better" I lied, if anything, I'm descending into insanity.
Frisk and Undyne caught the lie easily, but luckily for me, they didn't spill the beans. "Anywho, I have a question. It's about this Bloodfall guy running around. Could you tell us all what you know?"

Grillby seemed hesitant, did I say something that I wasn't supposed to? Did they disallow even talking about the hoodied murderer? He finally answered with "I'll say what I know."

Undyne and Frisk sat next to me, I guess they wanted to hear it too.

"Not too long after the rockfall, Bloodfall appeared in waterfall. Everyone in Snowdin was warned to stay away by a flower. One of his petals were freshly ripped slightly, the look on his face was as if he'd seen the most terrible beast in the land. We haven't seen him since, but what he said was not wrong." Grillby explained, Now that he mentioned it, Flowey DID have a rip in one of his petals. It was a detail that I knew of but dismissed.

"We were told by the same flower that Bloodfall only pops up in Waterfall, but an imposter is running around Snowdin." Frisk said

Grillby looked baffled "I knew that there was something fishy-no pun intended Undyne-that was going on with Bloodfall's sightings in Snowdin! That and the fact that the people whom have died are all killed in Waterfall and not Snowdin."

So that flower didn't lie after all. I'm impressed. "Can you show us the place where the imposter pops up the most? I got a BONE to pick with him." I asked Grillby, I don't like imposters. Go ahead and call me a hypocrite since I'm not a skeleton anymore and I'm now dressed as one, I don't care since I don't go around terrorizing people because they're all scared of a being that lurks in a place where someone dangerous is probably watching.

Grillby agrees as he takes us to where the map puzzle was. We hid in the trees and we waited.

----------------------------------------------

A few hours passed, Frisk was struggling to keep focus. He had never waited for anyone this long before. He could tell that Undyne and Sans were itching for a fight and growing impatient from waiting.

Finally, Frisk saw a figure walk by. A normal monster, how disappointing. Frisk then saw a shadow escape the bushes, a hoodied being stood before what seemed like a female monster. The creature screamed as the being that he presumed what Bloodfall looked like, but more fake, struck a blow. Luckily it was only enough to knock the lady off her feet.

Before Frisk could exit the bushes and ask the imposter to stop, Sans and Undyne burst from their hiding spots and launched spears and bones onto the being to knock them down. The being let out a howl of shock as they were flown into the air, then got slam pinned by the fish lady.

Frisk jumped out of the bushes, Grillby following behind "Wonderful!
We would have never captured him if you two weren't around!" Grillby praised.

Frisk however, was not pleased "You didn't have to shove him around like that!"

Sans growled as he took the gloves off the imposter "Listen kid! He woulda just bolt if we didn't strike first! We didn't kill him so we're ok!" Sans pointed out, "Alright. He's got five fingers, this surely ain't the real deal or so Flowey says." Sans said, changing topic.

Undyne took off the hood as it revealed a teenage rabbit staring at them in shock "This ain't no skeleton! It's a rabbit!"

The rabbit flattened his ears "H-how could you tell?!? I've been doing this for a month and no one suspected a thing!"

"Listen kiddo," Sans started as his eyes went pitch black "Don't underestimate us and quit it with the child acts! Grillby! Take this kid home, we're gonna go meet the REAL Bloodfall!"

----------------------------------------------

We arrived back in Snowdin after the run-in with the imposter. I told the kid not to do that ever again, damn he obeyed faster than anyone ever obeyed. We said goodbye to Grillby and we set off to Waterfall.

We soon arrived at the entrance. Frisk and Undyne took a minute to say their final goodbye to the easy travel. After all, who knows what happened in Waterfall.

I look into the darkness of the cave. It seemed normal....too normal. I then started to get a horrible feeling. For a second, I thought that I saw a pair of glowing eyes stare at me from the darkness of the cave. I rubbed my eyes to try to see better, but I was greeted with the darkness once more.

Undyne then took the lead into the place. I wasn't so sure of coming here now. I was so sure that we could sneak up on Bloodfall...

But I was wrong...

No matter what we do...

We are being watched....

We have now become Bloodfall's prey.
