Chapter 6
Miyaka had teleported herself as far away from them as she could, so they couldn't sense her anymore. She didn't need them finding where she was and have Kakuzu fighting her, and him kicking her ass.
She saw a small village not too far from her and walked in that direction hoping to recharge.
Once she had gotten a room in an inn near the middle of the small village she went and took a shower rinsing herself off. Stepping out she wiped the fog off the mirror and looked at her green eyes and red hair in her reflection.
Miyaka knew that she couldn't stay in the village long. The Akatsuki wasn't going to give up, they would keep coming after her until she joins. So there was something she had to do before they found her again.
She walked into the living room area and looked at the symbol that she had made before she went in the shower. She was going to seal herself, so her disguise wouldn't disappear if she was knocked out or defeated. And the only problem is . . . is that once it was sealed, her barrier abilities would go with it until the seal was broken, and only she could do it.
After she finished, she grabbed her belongings and went back down to reception paying for her room, and left the village jumping into the trees, hoping to get as much distance from it as she could.
Knowing Kakuzu and Hidan, they would be on her trail right away.

After Kakuzu stitched up Hidan's torso, he stood up and pulled out a map from his sleeve. He glared at it trying to burn a hole in the paper in front of him. Hidan had let himself be run through with his own scythe because of his miscalculation, and Miku got away. This time when they found her, Kakuzu was the one who was going to fight her, and he would not embarrass the Akatsuki by losing like his stupid partner.
"Oi, Kakuzu where the hell are you going? The hideout is the other way." Hidan's annoying voice echoed through his ears.
"We are not finished our mission, you fool."
"Yeah, but she's gone. I don't even sense her anywhere."
"There's a small village near here. We will check there and the surrounding area first. And if we do find her Hidan, " he turned to face him, "I'm helping this time, or I'm not letting you join the fight." He threatened.
"Tch." Hidan sucked his teeth and stood, following his money grabbing partner begrudgingly.
Once they got to the small village Kakuzu went past the first two inns and headed to one that was a little farther in. Going to the reception, the girl at the desk fell out of her chair when she suddenly looked up at Kakuzu frightened.
"Have you seen this girl?" Kakuzu asked holding up a piece of paper with Miku's picture on it.
"Um. .." She got up sitting back in her chair and looking at the picture. "Yes, actually, she rented a room from us."
Putting the picture away he asked which room she was in.
"I'm sorry but you just missed her, she's already left the village."
Kakuzu groaned, "Did you see which way she went?"
The girl pointed in the direction that she went. Kakuzu turned on his heel and grabbed the back of Hidan's collar dragging him out of the inn, and towards the trees.

Miyaka had stopped, dropping down onto the ground near a berry bush. She looked at the berries before picking one up and inspecting it making sure it wasn't a poisonous one. She has been traveling for so long that she can tell if foods in the wild are toxic to her body or not.
Popping a couple of them in her mouth and letting the sweet taste hit her taste buds, she put some in one of her empty pouches so she had some for the road. She didn't know the next time she would come across another village, so the berries were nutritious and had juice in case she got thirsty.
Once she walked half a day through the trees, she sensed something. She stopped raising her guard even more than it already was.
She leaped up into a tree as a familiar scythe came whipping past her face and lodging itself in the ground. Looking around she couldn't see Hidan from where she was due to how thick the trees were.
Hidan came flying out from behind her with his black stake in hand ready to stab her. She dodged his attack grabbing onto his wrist, she used Hidan's arm a leverage to lift herself to the right height to give him a good kick in the face making him go tumbling to the ground in a heap.
As she landed on a branch she had to flip off it and onto the ground before she got impaled by threads. More threads came after her in all directions, along with Hidan swiping at her with his scythe that he had retrieved.
Threads came out of the ground wrapping around her foot, keeping her in place. She struggled in place taking out a kunai to cut them.
'This isn't looking good.' She thought to herself.
More threads wrapped around her arm with the kunai, and around her other limbs and torso. Before she could do anything Kakuzu appeared in front of her and hardened his hand and landed a strong blow to the stomach knocking the wind out of her, making her vision go black before she lost consciousness.
Kakuzu released his threads around the girl letting her collapse on the ground before he picked her up throwing her over his shoulder and walked towards the hideout.
"Gee, that was easy." Hidan scoffed.
"That's because I was helping, you can't do a simple job on your own."
As they were arguing Emi appeared behind them raising an eyebrow at the slumped girl over Kakuzu's shoulder. She felt some odd energy coming from the girl's body that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
She picked up a rock from the ground a chucked it at Hidan's head making him whip around to face her. "Oh, It's just you."
Hidan gestured to the girl, "say hello to our new member."
surprise crossed her face, "what?"
