The Akatsuki members were completely speechless. The person that Leader had pulled towards him from the fight that was going on at the other end of the clearing was none other than Miyaka. Leader had laid her unconscious body down near the trees out of harm's way with Tobi and Zetsu keeping watch of her for the time being.
"I can't believe she's alive, we all thought she was buried and crushed underneath all the ruble in the temple. How did she get out? There was no sign of any sort of escape around the area when we searched." Deidara spoke up while he was staring at her form on the ground.
"Don't worry about that right now we have to deal with this problem first," Itachi said dodging a kunai that was thrown at him.
"Itachi is right Deidara. We need to get rid of this brainwashed children first." Leader spoke as he joined back up with the group and blasting a bunch of them back quite far. He looked back at Deidara, "get rid of these pests in one go."
"With pleasure." A smile grew on his face before stuffing his hands in his pouches and making some of his clay birds. He threw them straight at them and as soon as they got at the perfect range he put his hand in a sign making them explode. Since they were conveniently in a group they all got blasted and their limbs were now falling from the sky scattering along the grass.
The Akatsuki thought that they were dead until their limbs got pulled back to their body as the torso was regenerated quickly. "The hell?" Deidara's voice was furious. "That is not supposed to happen!"
Kakuzu looked at him with a bored stare, "Of course it's not. We have been fighting these things since before you all got here. That woman over there is the main cause and I think she might be the power source too." He pointed to Akuma with his thumb.
"So we take her out and the rest disappear, or something like that?" Kisame walked up beside Leader looking towards the red-haired woman that had a dark glare that was pointed at Leader.
Emi raised the kunai slightly waving it around to get everyone's attention, "we need to impale her with this and it will kill her. Well, that's what Miyaka believes anyway."
Their eyes landed on the Kunai with curiosity swimming in their eyes but still nodded.

Miyaka's head felt like someone was continuously smashing a rock against her skull from the amount of pounding pain was shooting through her brain. She groaned in pain before her eyes fluttered opened blinking away the blurriness. Once her eyes focused she jerked up in shock from what was around her.
There were stars floating around her and she was floating in an empty space. She looked around to try and see if there was anything that would give her a hint to where she was but there was nothing. A white light blinded her from in front of her forcing her to put her hand in front of her eyes to shield them.
Once the light faded she heard an all to familiar voice, "Miyaka.."
Lowering her hand she looked at the person in front of her that was glowing in a faded white light. "Mom...." she sighed before looking around where she was floating. "Where am I?" Her mother chuckled at her, "it's hard to explain but, in a sense the spirit world where all the people that have had Akuma in their bodies go when they die. We watch over the next generation and if they are near dying we lend them a hand.....for a price."
Miyaka was surprised, "so that's what that was." she mumbled to herself. "Yes Miyaka, and I'm sorry we caused you so much pain. It takes a lot out of a person having so many show up at once." She waved her hand at her, "Nah, don't worry. I've been through worse." Her mother giggled at her "oh, I know sweetheart." A blush darkened on her cheeks and looked away. "don't call me that, I'm not a child anymore." A hand ruffled her hair "maybe not but, you will always be my child no matter how old you get."
