Chapter 16

Magnus' POV
Alec smiled as he opened the door for Magnus who felt surprisingly nervous.

"So.. What's up?" Magnus asked before Alec had the chance to even greet him.

"What do you think?" Alec asked. "Don't I look pretty happy?"

Magnus smiled too, feeling relieved and then hugged him tightly. "You should've told me instead of just telling me to come over! I was wondering if you wanted me here to be happy with you or if you had your bags packed and wanted me to drive you to Mexico!"

"No, everything's okay." Alec said with a laugh as he pulled back, keeping his hands on Magnus' waist. "Actually, my parents wanna meet you."

"What?" Magnus hissed. "Why didn't you just say so! I would've dressed.. To impress."

Alec laughed. "What is this then?" He asked, studying Magnus' outfit. "You wear cufflinks when you prepare to drive me to Mexico?"

"Oh, shut up." Magnus said. "You know what I mean."

"No, I don't, actually." Alec said laughing. "Anyway, my parents are currently shopping for groceries, they're gonna make dinner once they get back."

"Am I allowed to be here yet?" Magnus asked. "Are they expecting me?"

Alec rolled his eyes. "Relax. I told them I would invite you already."

"Okay, good." Magnus said with a nod and then nudged Alec's shoulder. "Ugh, I can't believe you didn't tell me."

"What would that have helped?" Alec asked, crossing his arms over his chest. "Would you have worn a suit?"

Magnus scowled. "Perhaps."

"Just come on." Alec said, grabbing his hand and pulling him with him to the livingroom where Isabelle and Max were sitting. "Hi." He said. "This is Magnus." He told Max who hadn't met him yet.

"Hey." Magnus said with a smile and a quick wave of his hand.

"Hi. I'm Max." The little boy replied with a smile. "You have cool shoes." He said and Magnus glanced down at his black boots that had few silver spikes on them on the sides.

"Well, thank you." He said with a smile.

"It's great to see you again." Isabelle said. "And I'm so happy for you guys."

"Thanks, it's great to see you again too." Magnus replied.

Max lowered his voice. "Is he your boyfriend?" He asked from Alec and Magnus laughed.

"Yes. He is." Alec told his brother. Magnus wondered if it felt as new to Alec to be so open about it. Probably. "And we're gonna go. See you guys at dinner." Alec said then and walked upstairs, pulling Magnus with him.

"Your siblings make me sad I'm an only child." Magnus told him. "They're so nice."

"Yeah, they're great." Alec replied. "But you should see them on their bad days. Then they make me wish I was an only child."

"Guess it goes both ways." Magnus agreed.

They walked into Alec's room and Magnus closed the door after him, watching Alec who walked over his desk, putting few books in a pile and looked out of the window quickly before turning to the other boy with a smile. Magnus felt like he had been about to say something but could no longer grasp it. He looked at Alec and remembered the last time he had been in his room and how horrified he had been about almost getting caught. Now Alec just seemed.. So much lighter. He looked like a person who had gotten relief after something that had bothered them for years had went away. And that's what he was. He did seem relieved. Easy going. Happy.

"What?" Alec asked grinning.

Magnus shrugged. "You seem happy."

"Why wouldn't I be happy?" Alec asked and Magnus laughed.

"Exactly." He said. "No reason."

"You're just not used to seeing me happy?" Alec asked carefully, straightening the book pile he had made even though it was in perfect order.

"Not this happy." Magnus replied. "Not this.. Easily happy. You smile for no reason and just the way you walk seems lighter. You really are happy, aren't you?"

Alec smiled and rolled his eyes. "Of course, aren't you?"

"I'm extremely happy." Magnus said as he walked over to Alec, wrapping his arms around his neck. "And what makes me even more happy is how happy you are."

Alec laughed as he wrapped his arms around the other boy's waist. "What a sap."

"Shut up." Magnus said grinning before softly kissing him, pressing his lips and body against his. Alec's arms tightened around him and they both smiled against each other's lips before focusing back to the kiss and pulling each other closer.

AN: Well, all seems to be pretty well now... You'll see how this goes on ;)
So, I wanted to ask you guys something: What do you think about some more Malec? ;) I mean how much do you want it? I'm not gonna write smut but a little bit of more action maybe? Do you guys want that/are you okay with that or should I stick to this more cutesy-fluffy-Malec stuff?
