Chapter 21

Alec's POV
"Shh!" Magnus hissed as Alec almost knocked over a coat rack that he caught from the air before it hit the ground.

"Sorry!" Alec whispered as Magnus set it back up and they continued like it never even happened. Magnus kissed Alec, wrapping his arm around his slim waist and using his other hand to pull the frontdoor shut behind them quietly. Alec pulled Magnus away from the door, tripping over his own feet and his back hit the wall and Magnus balanced both of them quickly, holding on to the wall and laughing.

"We should go to my room before you wake up my mom." He said and Alec raised a brow.

"I wake up your mom?" He repeated.

"Well, I'm not the one tripping over furniture all the time." Magnus pointed out and the other boy rolled his eyes but smiled.

"Shut up." Alec said and wrapped his arms around his boyfriend's neck, kissing him harder. Magnus' tongue slowly traced his lip and Alec let out a sigh, his legs turning to jelly and he was glad he had the wall against his back to keep him upright. Magnus was grinning. Apparently his reaction hadn't gone unnoticed.

"We should go upstairs." Magnus said then and Alec nodded, leaning in, about to kiss him again but Magnus stepped back with a smug smirk.

"Tease." Alec growled quietly.

"Just come on." Magnus said, grabbing his hand and pulling him to the staircase with him. "Do your parents know you're here?"

"Surprising as it is, yes." Alec replied with a small laugh. "They weren't too thrilled about me spending the night here but they didn't directly say no so..." He shrugged.

"Without a direct no, it's always a yes to the child when it comes to parents." Magnus said with a grin, pulling his room door open and pushing Alec in. He followed, closing the door after him, trying to do it slowly and quietly instead of slamming it shut.

Then he turned to Alec, casually setting his hands on his hips and shrugged slightly. "So, you wanna go to sleep or..? The guestroom is down the hall and-..."

"Stop." Alec said laughing and pushed him back until his back was against the door and pressed his lips on his. Magnus' hands gripped his waist, pulling him closer and Alec completely melted against him. "I don't wanna sleep in the guestroom." He mumbled then and Magnus grinned.

"Good." He replied. "Cause I don't want you to sleep in the guestroom."

"Where do you want me to sleep then?" Alec asked, smiling innocently and Magnus smirk.

"Right..." He said and pushed the other boy back until they reached his bed and he pushed Alec on his back. "...there."

Alec laughed and sat up, pulling Magnus to him, straddling his waist. "Okay, here is good."

Magnus just smiled before leaning down to kiss his boyfriend who layed down, pulling him on top of him while kissing him. Magnus settled himself carefully on Alec who wrapped his arms around him, holding him in place. Alec slipped his hands under the hem of Magnus' shirt, softly touching the soft skin on his back. Magnus traced his lips down Alec's throat, kissing his neck. It felt good and Alec let out a pleased sound, but then started to giggle like a little kid and Magnus pulled back, looking down at him.

"What are you doing?"

Alec controlled his grin. "I'm sorry. It's nothing." He said, tracing his fingertips up and down Magnus' back.

"Okay." Magnus mumbled before leaning down to kiss him again and Alec reached up as well, their mouths sliding together in the most perfect way. Magnus pulled back a bit, biting his lip and Alec reached up for more but the other boy just smirked at him before leaning down, kissing his neck and Alec let out a giggle again.

"I knew it!" Magnus said as he pulled back. "What is it?"

Alec was still laughing. "It tickles."

"Oh, my God." Magnus said laughing, leaning his forehead against Alec's shoulder. They both laughed and then Magnus pushed himself up, still straddling Alec and looked down at him. "We should probably go to sleep."

"Did I ruin the mood?" Alec asked.

"No, it's just pretty late." Magnus said, softly brushing Alec's hair back from his forehead.

The blue eyes stared up at him with the same kind of look that little kids had when they were really serious. "And I kinda ruined the mood."

Magnus laughed. "No, it was just really funny."

"Yeah, it's not supposed to be funny!" Alec said, laughing as well.

"Whatever." Magnus said and leaned down, giving him a quick kiss before rolling off him and lying next to him. "Good night, darling."

Alec smiled. "Good night." He said as he moved closer to the other boy, wrapping his arm around Magnus' waist and lifting his leg over one of his, leaning his head against his chest. He felt Magnus' hand in his hair and closed his eyes.

"I love you." Magnus said quietly and Alec opened his eyes again and smiled even though he knew the other boy couldn't see his face.

"I love you too."
