Maaga akong gumising. I prepared her breakfast. Put a message beside it and a white rose I cut from our neighbours garden. Nagpaalam naman ako kaya legal ang pag-pitas ko nun. In fact she told me to pick the most beautiful one. Nasabi ko kasi sa kanyang nag nagka misunderstanding kami ng mesis ko.
After I set the table ay nakatangap ako ng call from the engineer I hired. Tapos na daw ang pinapagawa ko. Kaya hindi ko na nahintay ang paggising ni Anne and hurriedly met that engineer.
Anne’s POV
Ang sakit ng ulo ko ng magising ako kinabukasan. Bumaba ako para kumuha ng maiinom. Dire-diretso ako sa ref ng may mahagilap ang mata ko. Tumalikod ako.
“Wow!” is all I can say.
“Did he prepared this?” tanong ko sa sarili ko. “definitely.” Pagsagot ko sa tanong ko.
‘sana ganito nalang sya always.’
I saw a card beside a rose.
I grabbed the rose and smelled it. Napa’smile ako. Halatang linagyan ng perfume.
