aurora's pov-

    i took a sip of my pepsi, and continued the conversation. "i don't know what to do anymore."

"meet him," liam suggested.

"what?"

"go to him," he just shrugged.

"just go to him?" i ask, utterly lost.

"show him your ass isn't gonna deal with this shit no longer and that you ain't playing around. if he wants you to be in his life he'll meet you, if he doesn't then don't talk to him because it's not going to go anywhere."

"isn't there an—"

"no, just do it." liam interrupted, mouth filled with his salad.

"but what if—what if he's not ready?"

"it's been a damn year." eyes rolling, out of his goddamn head i hope.

"i'm aware of that, liam." i say rolling my eyes, mocking him.

"so what's the issue here?"

"what if i'm not ready?"

"do you like this dude?"

"i mean, y–yeah... but where are you going with this?"

"do you want to keep talking to him, and continue with this friendship you have with him?"

"yeah but liam, i don't see the point in this."

"bitch what do you mean?"

"he has a girlfriend," i sighed.

"oh honey no, you are not just tellin—okay no. why are you fucking with someone who is in a relationship—that doesn't concern you?!"

"liam, he was single at the time!" i exclaim, throwing my head back.

"fuck everything i just said, he's not worth it."

"w–what?" i stutter, almost choking on my pepsi.

"stop talking to him."

"liam—"

"aurora, he doesn't like you."

"liam..."

"if he did, he wouldn't have gotten a girlfriend."

"y–you're right," i give in.

"it's for the best."

"are you sure?"

"positive."

but i wasn't ready. i knew i felt something with nick, maybe it's not love. but fuck, it sure is more than just liking someone. i'm just not sure what it can be.
