Autumn awoke on her back, her ceiling looked a lot different. An arm was sprawled on her stomach. She looked over and saw Devon peacefully sleeping beside her. Autumn tried her best to mov Devon's arm without waking him. She got up off his bed and walked to the bathroom he had in his room.

She closed the door silently, locked the door and looked at herself in the mirror. She wore the same clothes as the day before and she still had the horrible looking black eye. She wanted it gone so the girls at school would stop making fun of her so she could live with herself until she died in 8 days.

Autumn scowled at herself in the mirror like all the other girls do. She hated herself and she knew that she was ugly and a bitch, they told her that she was every chance they got. She knew that she was a horrible person. She scowled at herself until she burst into tears. She took off her sweater and looked at her body. She rememebered them telling her she was fat. She wasn't but she believed them. She sat in the corner of his bathroom, silently crying. Everything they said the day before ran through her mind like a home movie.

Devon woke up and forgot that Autumn was there the night before. He forgot what had happened the night before, his dreams still clouding his mind. He walked to his bathroom door and tried to turn the knob, but it caught halfway. He kept trying to turn it and turn it until the lock was turned and and Autumn ran into his arms in only her bra and jeans. Her eyes were wet with tears and she looked so sad.

"Autumn, whats wrong hun?"

She just wrapped her arms around him and sobbed into his shoulder. Devon wrapped his arms around her and tried to calm her down.

"Autumn, please? Tell me whats wrong?"

"I'm not good enough for anybody." She sobbed."I'm ugly, fat, I'm not worth it. Everyone hates me for no reason. They tell me that I'm a bitch and a whore. They know what happened to me and they keep hurting me.Nobody wants to help me. I know even you don't want to. Why would you? I am thinking of shortening my time because of everything that happened. I can't take it anymore." She sobbed until her face was red and her eyes were poofy and bloodshot.

Devon watched as she broke down in front of him. He honestly didn't know what to do. He just wanted to make her feel better.

"Autumn, you are beautiful to me. I do want to help you, I truely do. I care for you and want to make you better. You are worth everything to me." Devon wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.

Autumn had forgotten how much he had helped her these past few days. She felt so stupid for saying those things. She wanted to slap herself for it. She should've kept her mouth shut and stayed in bed with Devon.

"I'm sorry, I'm such an idiot. I shouldn't of said any of that." She turned on her heels, went back against the wall and sat back on the floor, head in hands.

"Hunnie, it's ok. I know they upset you. I honestly wish there was more I could do for you." He knelt down in front of her and reached for her hand. Autumn looked up at him and stared for a moment. "I will always be here for you Autumn."

She said nothing, she just got up and wrapped her arms and legs around Devon.

"You are the only light in my life Devon." She sobbed into his shoulder. "I only have 8 more days to spend with you. I want to make them special."

"I want you to stay alive though."

Autumn looked at him, her bloodshot eyes brimmed with tears and her nose running. "For me, there is nothing to live for. You have a bright future, a successful future. I have nothing. You know that already." She let a light smile cross her lips.
