We walked to the hallway that Fiona and I had gone to before. We went into one of the rooms, and found that it was a huge room with a giant computer. There were also several chairs about. Sitting in one was a tall women with short blonde hair. Sitting next to her was... Mr. Barkin?! What?! Why was he here? He nodded politely, and I just stood there, confused. I managed to hold in my questions, Danny however, did not,

"Mr. Barkin?! What are you doing here? Did you know that we'd be here, the whole time? Are you part of the Beacons?"

Mr. Barkin looked at Danny,

"I came to the Beacons to get a better life. I had hoped you would manage to get to us, and you did! Does that answer your questions."

Danny thought for a moment, "Yes."

"Ahem." Glen interrupted, "I see you've met Starn, or as you call him, Mr. Barkin."

"Starn?! " We cried in unison.

"Yes, Starn." Glen continued, "I don't however, think you've met Ami." He turned towards the women, I guess that's Ami. Ami stood and spoke,

"Hello Fiona, Makenzie, and Danny. We are pleased that you have joined us."

"The world needs us." I replied.

"Alright! Now that introductions have been made, we can get down to business. This computer lets us keep track of all our people, and what the Conquerors are up to. Our top priority is to find the Secret Stone before the Conquerors do. Right now, that's impossible, because Corple has the map. What we need you three to do is, sneak into their lair, retrieve the map, and sneak out." Glen explained.

"Us three? Alone?" Danny interrupted.

"We have to go back there?" Fiona groaned.

"Yes. But you won't be alone, Ami and Starn will go with you." Glen replied.

I looked at Starn and Ami sitting in the corner,

"So, um... By the way guys, just a thought... isn't there anybody else in the Beacons? So far it's just you three, and the Conquerors have way more people." I said.

"Oh yes. Don't you worry. We have many other Beacon bases, with many other members, placed in strategic positions." Glen answered.

I chose to believe him. What difference would it make if I didn't believe him?

"Will you accept your mission?"

We looked at each other and nodded. We were in agreement. We all spoke in unison,

"Yes."
