"Let's do something!" Sage yelled in the air, throwing her phone somewhere. I dragged myself off the couch to grab more icecream and another blanket, I planned to binge an entirety of movies all weekend long. "Ry, you look and smell horrible, when's the last time you took a shower?" Sage asked. I shrugged my shoulders and took a whif in of myself. "You wanna go to the boardwalk?" Sage asked, the beach was always my weakness. I dragged my shoulders down and pulled myself off the couch, making way towards the bathroom, "Let me take a shower first!" I yelled down the hallway.
After I finished drying off, I braided my brown hair and slid into my black bikini. "Out of the post-breakup phase yet?" Sage asked, holding up a pack of beer. I sighed, "why would I be depressed about a breakup when I was the one who called it off, we're friends now." I laughed and grabbed my bag along with a few beach supplies inside.
Sage handed me a drink and put the rest of the pack in her bag, "There's a beach party and all of our friends are there." She smiled. I grabbed a pair of keys and started the car, throwing our bags in the backseat. Sage came out in a light blue bikini, along with her phone in one hand and an auxiliary cord in the other.
When we got there, a huge crowd of people were gathered in one area, drinking and moving in sync with the music. I grabbed my drink and opened it, running off with Sage to the large ocean behind the boardwalk. "Look who decided to come out of her hole today." Cameron made his way over to us. I smiled and hugged him before ran and crashed into the water with sage.
"Baby it's so cold!" She yelled, splashing water back at him. I laughed at them and sat back down on my towel layed out on the sand. "Whatcha doing pretty girl?" A man approached me. I raised an eyebrow and sighed, "Are we really doing this right now?" I thought. He sat down next to me and rested his hand on the inside of my thigh, rubbing my skin. I pulled his hand away and stood up, splashing my beer at his face. "Baby come back!" He yelled as I marched to the car.
Before I could open the door, he caught up with me and grabbed my waist, pushing himself against me. "You're really pretty, you shouldn't be out here by yourself," he laughed. I slapped him, struggling to get out of his hands, the boardwalk seemed to be further away now.
"Don't fight it!" He shouted in my ear, grabbing my jaw tightly as he slid his fingers in my bikini bottom. I screamed for help, which angered him into slamming his fist on my hip. As he continued touching me, I shut my eyes tight, hoping somehow I could be somewhere else. "Get the fuck off her!" A deep male voice yelled, making me jump.
I opened my eyes to see Kian, someone I didn't think would help me. He pulled the man off of me before throwing his fists into his face. "Run, pussy!" Kian yelled as the guy ran away, holding his jaw. Kian grabbed my waist, examining the bruise on my hip that had already formed from the man punching me. "Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Kian asked, being careful around the purple mark. I couldn't help but look at him like he was a superhero, where did he even come from? "Kian?" I cried, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. He pulled away and looked down, not saying a word. "Kian, thank you so much!" I kissed his cheek.
"Don't mention it." He whispered, running off to a car full of guys.
Kian don't go.
