Caspian had sent Eustace to look inside of a house, he returned with "yeah it looks like nobody's in, do you think we should head back?" His face was full of worry. I didn't believe him for a second. I leaned in a bit to whisper into King Caspian's ear saying "I think he's lying" we exchanged glances and he gave me a slight nod. We continued walking. "Do you wanna come here and...guard or something??" King Edmund asked Eustace not knowing what else to do with him.
"Ah, yes, of course. Good idea cousin, very uhm logical" said Eustace running up. I tried my best not to laugh at the boys reaction. " I think its best for me to stay with Eustace seeing as though I don't have a sword" i stated but I then noticed King Edmund handing me a sword saying "now you do" with a smile. "It's no fun to guard" Edmund whispered to me. So I guess I'm going with them once more, but at least now I can take care of myself. I noticed King Caspian pulling out a dagger and handing it to Eustace. His facial expression was priceless while Caspian just rolled his eyes. "I've got it, I've got it. Don't worry" Eustace stated putting up a hand to let us know he's okay although nobody really noticed. I could tell he was worried though, just as I am.The four of us opened the two doors and walked inside. I heard Eustace's voice echo through the building from outside "I'm ready to go when you are." In all honesty I felt bad for him, he's just scared, this is new to the both of us.
Edmund took out his torch pointing it at several pieces of paper so that we could read. "Who are these people?" I asked. "And why have they been crossed out?" Finished Edmund.
"It looks like some kind of fee" Lucy started. "Slave traders" said Caspian.
Alright now I am definitely scared. That was when more bells loudly went of making us jump once more but this time there were people coming down from ropes. I had no clue as to what to do.
"Look out!" Caspian yelled, shooting a man with his crossbow. I now knew it was now or never so I pulled out the sword and tried my best to repeat what I had seen King Edmund and King Caspian doing earlier today. Luckily, I was doing pretty well considering how new I was at this. I turned around to notice a man running towards me but Caspian had gotten to him first and he had stabbed him. "Thank you" I choked out. He gave me a small smile as usual and continued to fight.
That was until we heard a high pitched scream coming from outside. We all froze looking for where the sound had come from. I saw Eustace with a knife to his throat. That was him who screamed??? I thought to myself. Wow
"Unless you wanna hear this one squeal like a girl again, I say you should drop your weapons." We all put our weapons down but we could all tell that Edmund was furious with Eustace. I don't understand why though, it was not his fault, how should he have known what to do?
The men had started handcuffing us. I heard Lucy cry "Get your hands off me!" I wanted to go help her but I to was being taken. "Take those three to the market, and send those two to the dungeons" listen to me you insulate fool! I AM YOUR KING!" Shouted Caspian now obviously furious but they didn't seem to care.
One man punched Edmund and he yelled "your going to pay for that!"
"Actually, somebody else is going to pay" said the man who I am guessing is in charge here. "For all of you" he finished with a creepy smile.
"Edmund!!" Lucy screamed
"Lucy!!" Edmund yelled back wanting so badly to help his sister.
I was in so much shock that I couldn't even speak but I noticed Caspian staring at me with pity but there was nothing he could do. At least not right now.

Lucy, Eustace, and I were held by chains against a wall. What we just witnessed made me sick. We saw a group of people being driven away and a man was running after them yelling for a woman, it must be his wife. Then a little girl came out screaming "mommy" and we saw the man get hit hard by one of the men who had locked us up here. "Don't worry! I'll find you!" The kind man called after his wife while their daughter I believe came running up to her father to help him up off the ground.
