Dangers of the sea

The entire crew has been incredibly busy lately, leaving almost no time at all for Caspian and i to talk about things. The weather was insane. nonstop storms. It has been 14 days since Caspian and I kissed, we haven't had any time to discuss what happens next though. We still have yet to find land. Everyone is beginning to panic. We have been running low on food and water.

I was soon called into a meeting with Drinian that included Caspian, Edmund, and Lucy as well. He told us we only have enough food and water for two weeks max. "This is your last chance to turn back your majesty" he said facing Caspian who was busy smirking at me. I tried not to laugh when everyone else noticed and began staring at him.

"There is no guarantee we will find the blue star anytime soon, not in this storm" he finished.

"We might get eaten by sea serpants." Joked Edmund with a hint of fear in his voice.

Caspian was now in deep thought, trying to decide what is best for everyone.

"I'm just saying the men are getting nervous. These are strange seas were sailing, the likes of which I've never seen before" Drinian started again causing Caspian to stand up after that.

"Then perhaps captain you'd like to be the one to explain to Mr. Rhince that we are abandoning the search for his family" Caspian stated,obviously frustrated with Drinian for mentioning such a thing.

"I'll get back to it" Drinian simply stated now heading back outside.

"Just a word of warning" Drinian began once more causing us to all look up at him.

"The sea can play nasty tricks on the crews mind, very nasty" he finished, now slipping on his coat.

I was heading off to bed when Caspian lightly pulled me back. A small smile formed on my face. Caspian grabbed my face and pulled it towards his, kissing me with so much passion, my mind was going crazy right now. i snaked my arms around his neck, pulling him as close to me ad i possibly could, the sparks were going off once more. i felt such a rush. i felt so safe, so important. This kiss was definitely longer than the last, 30 seconds at least, I didn't want it to ever end, but it had to, we had to breathe. We slowly broke apart and he moved his hand up to brush the hair out of my fave so that he could see me better. I then noticed him smile.

"I've been meaning to ask you something." He started, obviously teasing at this point. I raised my eyebrows at him, signaling him to continue. "How would you feel about getting together with me? Just you and I? On a date?" He finished, his voice full of hope.

I quickly nodded in response. "I'd like that, I'd really like that." I stated, my smile growing even wider.

I chuckled a bit at him, he looked surprised?

"Wonderful" he stated, clearly pleased with my response. "Well you should be going to bed I suppose? Hopefully soon we will find land, but first you need your sleep" he finished now letting go of my hand that I hadn't even been aware of the fact was in his.

"Sweet dreams" I quietly said to him while walking away.

"For you as well" he said now walking away.

I had a date? I had never had a date in my life. Not once. I didn't know what to think so I began to panic. What if something goes wrong? What if I make a complete fool of myself? Then what? Will he still like me?

I fell asleep immediately after stepping into the room, not even changing clothes. I was scared and felt the need to block out all thoughts.

I twisted and turned In my sleep all night, bad memories came rushing back at me, hitting me so hard I thought I had been smacked by a bat.

Around 4:30 in the morning I awoke to a voice, Lucy's voice. She had screamed Aslan and that caused me to jump up terrified. She didn't see that I had woken up so I decided to keep it that way. She crumpled up a piece of paper and got up, placing it in the fireplace.

I soon fell back to sleep, but not for long. Lucy woke me up a while later asking me to follow her. I did so and we walked down towards Edmund and Caspian's chambers.

"Father...father" I heard Caspian whisper fearfully in his sleep I just wanted to walk over to him and comfort him somehow but I didn't know if that was right for me to do.

I watched as Edmund pulled out his sword when Lucy said his name. Probably not a good idea on her part. Caspian soon sat up after hearing Edmunds sword.

"I can't sleep" stated Lucy.

"Let me guess? Bad dreams." He simply responded after exchanging glances with Caspian.

I looked around, i was used to bad dreams, so I wasn't easily affected by them, but apparently everybody else here was, and that worried me.

Edmund stated that he believes something is playing with our minds.

I tried the best I could to comfort Lucy and eventually brought her back up. I told her about some of my dreams and the tricks I occasionally used. "Just think of a song, your favorite song, and play it over and over in your mind. We both eventually drifted back to sleep.

In the morning we left early, we got onto boats and paddled our way to shore. Sadly, I was placed beside Eustace, lucky me!

Surprisingly, Eustace actually wanted to join in to search for clues. Everyone turned their head to look at him, as if mocking him. I tried my best to hold in a laugh.

"Come on, please don't send me back to the rat" he begged.

"I heard that!" Reepicheep shot back.

Eustace clearly wasn't finished though. "Big ears" he finally finished.

"I heard that too" Reepicheep said, earning a chuckle from everybody.

Caspian turned around to laugh at Eustace but stopped for a moment at me and gave me a sweet smile, which I gladly returned after sticking out my tongue causing more of a reaction.

'Our date! I completely forgot! ' I thought to myself but then realized we probably won't ever get the time for one anyway and I sighed, now stepping out of the boat after Edmund.

Once again, Eustace had some difficulty getting out of the canoe and fell once more. Boy, this will be a long day...
