"When the trouble dies down, I'll go."
"When will it die down, do you think?"
"Late, I would say."
"So, not until the morning then."
"Yes. I'd say I'll be here till morning."
Cillian Murphy as Thomas Shelby and Annabelle Wallis as Grace Burgess in Peaky Blinders [Series 1 Episode 5]
Soo, yes it's been a while so thank you so much for your patience. If you're wondering where I've been, I've been on netflix watching Bob's Burgers, on Lifetime watching The Rap Game, and on wattpad reading "Sin of My Father" by Sky_Wolf246 who is also showing love to my stories. Her book is soo good, let me tell you. You should go check it out and support her cuz she is doing her thing and it is amazeballs.
I've also been dealing a lot with anxiety and school/ home related stress. I'm sure some of you can relate. So, delving into my wonderful world of writing has truly helped a lot. Lemme just say, to everyone who maybe struggling with anxiety, depression, or whatever else, we gone make it, I have faith.
And, in this chapter and in the chapters to come, please bear with me and I do my best to articulate how these characters are truly feeling. I don't mean to drone on and on but I want to put purpose behind each action, you know what I mean?
K that's it, enjoyy

When they arrived home, Toni was nervous. She had been nervous the entire ride there but now, when it was so palpable, she was really nervous.
The door was but two steps away. What lie inside was her family, her future, her past.
Tommy stepped to the door and unlocked it. His hand was on the handle but Toni called out to him.
"Wait," she said breathlessly. She was shaking in anticipation.
He looked at her dryly.
"W-why am I so nervous?" She questioned.
He just looked at her and said nothing to acknowledge her question. After a moment, he turned to the door and opened it.

There had been a maid watching Thomas Junior. She was just putting the little boy to bed when she heard the front door unlock.
Figuring it was Tommy home already, she made her way out of Junior's room.
"Hello, Mr. Shelby," she said as he stepped through the door.
He nodded to her.
The maid noticed that there was someone else coming in behind him. "Oh, who is it Mr. Shel-," she began. But the words died in her mouth.
A woman came into view. She stepped from behind Thomas.
It was...
"You are..." the maid began. Speechless.
"I am..." Toni slowly nodded.
"Mrs. Shelby," Tommy said.
At this the maid let out a terrified shriek. She knew Mrs. Shelby. Everybody knew Mrs. Shelby.
They all knew that she had been killed. And she had been buried.
She was dead. Or, she should've beeen.
