I snuggled deeper into my pillow both of my arms wrapped around it,my legs draped over the blankets. I felt the warm sunlight touch my skin. My eyes flew open as the events of last night flooded my mind.I sat up right, I was laying on the head of the bed, I had been placed under the sheets and tucked in. I smiled because I knew who did it, I looked around to see where Jai was and I couldn't see him I noticed a note next to me on the bed 'Went to get us some breaky be back in a few X Jai' I smiled and I heard my phone start to ring

"Hey"I answered knowing it was Dahlia

"Charlie, thank god I was worried" her voice came screaming outstretched

"I thought you were busy with....nocturnal activities" I teased

"Yeahbut when you weren't home by 1 am Rob and I began to worry," shesaid her tone adopting that motherly tone I hated

"I'm fine I stayed the night at Jai's hotel," I told her

"OHHHH.....thefirst night...how was it?" she shrieked

"Nothing happened....I fell asleep" I hissed

"Too bad...Jai would be a good first for you" she said, I heard someone clearing their throat on the other line then I heard her say 'Honey you know what I mean' then I heard her smooching then she came back to me

"Dahlia.,"I said squeezing the bridge of my nose

"Iknow...I know....so anyway the gang is getting together to go anoff-roading and have a bonfire, I know you'd be into...Rob texted Jaiand he was game too, Braden is gonna be there too" Dahlia said

"Braden?"my heart fluttered to a stop for a moment

"Yeah,he is still part of the gang..." she said lowly

"Iunderstand I have no hard feeling towards him but...if he gets toohandsy I'm not gonna guarantee anything" I warned her

"Fairenough," she said smiling

I hear the lock engaging and saw Jai smiling with two cups and a bag from my favorite coffee shop.

"DahliaJai just got back with breakfast, we'll swing by in a few," I told her

"Later,"she said as we ended our phone call

"SoI guess you know about the plans for today" Jai smirked

"Yep, I'm surprised you're up for it..." I told him

"Why?" he furrowed his brows and placed the food on the table

"You know movie stars..they don't like to get dirty" I teased

"Have you seen the movies I make? I get dirty for a living" he scoffsplayfully

"True"I nodded

"Here you go" he handed me a cup of my favorite herbal tea I quirk a browat him

"I texted Rob to see what you'd like," he said bashfully then pulledmy favorite sandwich out

"Thatwas very nice..thank you," I said taking it a biting into it
