Chapter 7 -Hold Up Buttercup!
Last night my shift at Starbucks was great! Not many people recognized me and it was fun talking to Leslie. Turns out she is a huge One Direction fan. I'm definitely going to get her an autograph for her. Or maybe even let her meet them. That would be a fantastic surprise for my co-worker.
Right now I'm on my way to my family's house just to hang out with the boys. I'm not sure where Eleanor and I stand with each other but I hope we are still enemies. I can't wait to tell about what Louis did, or rather what he thought he did to Eleanor.
The cab pulled into the driveway and I saw Liam on the front porch texting. Danielle perhaps? I paid the cabbie and walked up to the boy with the troubled look.
"Girl problems?" I asked sitting down beside him.
"Well, kind of." He looked very puzzled waiting for the girl to text back, whether it be Danielle or not I have no idea.
"What's happening in your current relationship? Let me be your guide young grasshopper." He laughed at me and started to speak.
"Actually I'm older than you but sure. Well, Danielle and I broke up because, um. Because she was jealous that I was spending a week here with two girls even though Harry's got you and Louis' got Eleanor." I froze.
"I don't mean to make this about me but, what do you mean Harry's got me?" I asked a little confused. So what, we went on one date. That doesn't mean I'm his.
"He said the two of you were dating." Liam told me clarifying.
"Actually, we went out on one date and if he asked me out on another I was going to say no because I don't really want to be in a relationship at the moment." He looked shocked.
"That's funny because Harry specifically said he asked you out."
"It's alright, I don't blame him for his fantasies about me." I said sarcastically, "I mean look at me." We both started to laugh when Harry opened the door.
"Liam do you wan- Hey Elena, what are you doing here?"
"Thanks for the friendly welcome, but I'm here to tell you that we are not going out okay? Liam here just informed me that you were telling the boys that we are together, which we are not." I folding my arms across my chest and he laughed looking guilty.
"I-I just thought that since the kiss, that we were dating now." I rolled my eyes, typical boy.
"No, we are not. I don't want a boyfriend right now, I'm far too busy to go out." He nodded his head shamefully and then I felt bad.
"I'm sorry, I understand." He hung his head and was about to go back in the house before I stopped him.
"Wait Harry, I didn't mean to be harsh about it." I told him engulfing him in a hug. He wrapped his arms around me gratefully and embraced me tightly. I could feel the muscles under his shirt, damn. Hey who knows, I might actually want Harry as my boyfriend in the future.
"So," he said dragging it out, "Do you want to go out for coffee? You know, just as friends." I giggled and nodded. He took my hand and led me over to his car. I hopped in and we were off. So much for seeing all of the boys.
I quickly sent Liam a text saying I'd talk to him later about his girl issues. He replied with an okay and before I knew it Harry and I were at Starbucks. With luck Leslie will be here.
When we were driving I decided to send my lovely sister a text about Louis. With luck she'll freak and break up with him.
ME- Hey bitch, guess what Louis did last night?
ELEWHORE- what... Elena what did you do to him!!
Ha, don't you love my contact name for her? I think it hilarious personally.
ME- I didn't do anything! He came up behind him me obviously thinking I was you and started grinding on me kissing my neck. He held me there so I couldn't move. I would talk to him if I were you...
ELEWHORE- That asshole! Ugh, I thought I saw him with another girl, I have to go talk to him bye.
ME- Bye bitch!
Well that conversation was promising. Soon they will break up and everything will perfect in Elena land. Eleanor will be pissed and Louis will hate her for spazzing. Sigh, I love making her life a living hell.
We stepped into the café and got in line waiting for our turn. When it came I ordered my Latté and Harry ordered his whatever he got, I wasn't really listening.
"Don't worry, I got this one." He said already taking the money out of his wallet. I thanked him and we went over to sit.
"So, what compelled you to take me out today?" I asked in curiosity.
"I was actually wondering why you went off the night we went out?" I knew this was coming.
"Um, actually I was drugged. I might have been forced to uh, have sex too. I don't remember the drug knocked me out." Harry's eyes bugged out of his head.
"Oh my god Elena are you alright?" He asked placing his hands on top of mine across the table. A shock came through my hands. Okay what the hell.
"Yeah I'm fine." I didn't really want to tell him that the guy's flat was in the building across from mine because I have a feeling that he would walk over there and knock on every person's door asking if they drugged a teenage girl. It would've been pretty funny I have to admit, but then I'd probably get beat up.
"Elena if this ever happens again you need to call the police. How did you get home?" Okay, big lie needed here um... oh I got!
"Luckily I recognized where I was when I got out of the building and I walked back to my flat." See, not technically a lie.
"Are you sure you're alright?" He looked extremely concerned.
"Yes Harry I assure you I'm perfectly fine." He nodded then spoke again.
"Do you want to go for a walk in the park across the street?"
"Sure." We threw out the remainder of our coffees being careful walking across the street hand in hand. To anyone other than us it would've looked like we were dating. But to me he was just being kind. Except when we got across, he didn't let go. So I politely let go of his hand and he blushed a bit.
"So, tell me about yourself." He told me as we strolled past a playground filled with little kids.
"Um, I've lived in California for the past 4 years but I can successfully still do a British accent." I told him.
"Show me." He stated with a smirk.
"I can still talk like I did when I was living here see." I said that with a British accent and he laughed.
"I guess you can. Now if you do that I bet you could trick anyone into thinking you were Eleanor." He said, then it clicked. Be Eleanor. Oh my gosh I have the best idea ever!
"Yeah, I guess so." I had an evil smirk on my face and I think Harry noticed.
"What is your idea? I see that look of demise in your eye." He laughed at me and I quickly hid my face.
"Nothing, what are you talking about?" I asked playing dumb looking back up at him. He didn't seem to believe me but dropped the subject. "So what are some things I don't know about you?" I asked simply.
"Uh, I was in a band called White Eskimo before I was on the X Factor." I started laughing.
"Are you serious?" he laughed along with me and nodded.
"Actually, I came up with the name. It's pretty bad now that I think about it."
"I think it's cute." Wait, did I actually say that?
"Yes you actually did." He laughed and I started blushing.
"I said that last part out loud didn't I?"
"Yeah you did love." I looked down at the ground and cursed under my breath.
"Hey do you want to sit?" he asked me gesturing to the bench a few feet away. I nodded not trusting my voice at the moment and we sat down and talked for what seemed to be hours.
