She awoke from her slumber in a different surrounding than her tower. She looked around to see a servant girl over at a cupboard closet type thing hanging clothes up. Ana sits up and stretches. She takes the covers off of herself and rolls out of bed towards the woman. The women hears Ana moving and turns to look at her and smiles.

"Who are you?" Ana asked.

"Why I am Corinne, your very own personal servant, by master Aro's request." She said smiling, as she turned back a round to finish what she was doing.

"What are you doing?" she asked.

While still doing her job, "Master Aro ordered us to buy new clothes for you to wear. Since you will be staying here. They are of course to his liking. . ."

Ana interrupted, "What do you mean staying? Where am I? How did I get here?"

Corinne turned around and took her and made her sit on the bed, Corinne sat next to her, "You are in Italy. Master Aro saw you were unhappy and wanted you to live a normal life. So while you were sleeping he picked you up and carried you here for you to live. This of course is his private chambers. You should consider your self very lucky. . ."

"Why is that?" She asked.

"Because you are the first person that Aro has shown any kindness to in a long long time." Corinne trails off.

Ana puts her hand on Corinne's knee, "How long have you known him?"

"His whole life, I have known him since he was a school boy no higher than your knee. But the years have been hard on him I must say. He has faught in many wars and lost a great deal of love. He has lost his sister Sultica. Due to reasons I cannot say, he really loved her and doted on her. And becuase of that he grew to be a type of beast as one would say. . ." Ana was speechless, "But consider yourself lucky, is all I am going to say."

They both get up and Corinne hands Ana a dress and orders her to go change. They were to leave to have breakfast.

Ana came out wearing a nice sundress that fell to above her knee. She wore a pare of nice flats and her hair up in a high pony tale. Corrine escorted her to the dinning room, where she will have her meal.

While Ana was eating her oatmeal the door flies open and in barges Aro. He stops walking the moment he sees her. He takes a seat opposite of her and just stares at her. Corrine stood at the other end of the room and watched them. He looks over at her and as Ana looked down Corrine motions for him to say something. He gets the hint and then looks back at Ana.

He clears his throat and she looks up at him, "I did not properly get to introduce myself the other night. I'm Aro king of the vampires."

She pauses, "I know my father talked a lot about you to me."

"May I ask why you were locked in a tower?"

She put her spoon down and then answered, "I was always told that it was because it was to keep me safe. But then later on I come to find out that it was true. And what had happened was that when I was born my aunt decided that she hated me and wanted me dead and told my family she would stop at nothing till I was. So since the day I arrived into this world I've been up there and my father built a better army. . ." she paused and then he mentioned for her to continue, ". . .that is why he mentioned you, his cousin, would help him and join the army. But he never got around to asking you. . ."

"I see. Enjoy your oatmeal." He said as he got up and left.

Corrine put her hand to her head and shook her head in disapproval. Ana just sat there and ate her oatmeal.
