We both got dressed, and just threw the condom away.
"If we do become parents, you would still stay with me ?" I asked
"Of course I would." He said holding my hand
"I'm scared joji." I said
"I am too, babe." He said
We sat in silence, scared.
"when do you get your period ?" He asked
"next week." I said
"Well it looks like I'm going to be staying here for a while." He said
"How long were you planning on staying here ?" I asked
"A couple weeks." He said
"That's plenty of time to see." I said
"If you do get pregnant, will you move to Japan with me, or will you stay here ?" He asked
"Babe, I don't know. I cant just leave my job and my mom." I said
"Well you have time to think, but I'd rather have you stay with me." He said
"why cant you stay here ?" I asked,"What about when you go to college ?"
"I have jobs in Japan, and im done with college after this year." He said
"I dont want to talk about it, I might not even be pregnant." I said
"Ok babe." He said rubbing my hand
I laid my head on his lap, and we both fell asleep for the night.
** Week later
So the day I'm supposed to start my period is two days away, but there's pregnancy tests to tell you before you miss a period.
While joji was asleep still, I went to the store and bought three different types of tests.
I came back home and joji was barely waking up. He was shirtless, and he had his little stomach hair showing.
I sat by his head,"Joji, wake up real quick."
"What's up?" He stretched
"I got some pregnancy tests." I said
He immediately sat up, and looked at the boxes.
"I think the tests are better to take in the morning ?" I said
"Go take them then," he said nervously
"I will." Isaid getting up
I used all three tests at once, and We waited for the results.
A couple minutes later, I looked at the tests.
Joji stood next me, holding my hand tight.
The lines on the tests slowly started to appear.
I read the results, and I grasped his hand even tighter.
"What does two lines mean ?" He asked
I could barely speak,"p-p-preg-pregnant"
"Are you serious?" He asked
"Yes." I said staring at the tests.
I started to smile, and he did too. He picked me up, and spun me around
"I'm going to be a dad !" He shouted
I smiled, at him as he started to do a happy dance.
"I'm so happy !" He said
