I fell asleep, I dreamt that I was with Joji back when we both first met. The dream felt so real. I don't want to wake up.
"Ella." Alex shook my shoulder waking me up
"Huh?" I said
"Come on, we're gonna go stretch." She said
"Oh I forgot." I said sitting up
She grabbed my hand and helped me up, she slid me the hospital slippers,"We're gonna go to the cafeteria and eat since maverick forgot about us."
I left all of my stuff on the bed, we left the room and walked past all the nurses to the elevator.
"How many people do you know?" She asked
"3, now 4." She said,"There's Jake, Lyndsey, and Zarinah. They'll love you so don't worry."
"I'll try not to." I said
"We all are open and loving people. We dont judge, we're all fucked up enough so why judge others?" She said
The elevator doors opened, she led me the cafeteria. She took me to a table where the 3 of her friends sat.
"Hey guys." Alex said
They all turned,"Hey!"
"Who's your friend?" The guy asked
"Ella, and she's married so don't try any thing Jake." She said
I laughed,"Hello."
"I'm Zarinah." A girl with brown eyes waved
"I'm Lyndsey." The girl with green eyes said
"And I'm handsome Jake." The guy said
"Shut up." Zarinah said smacking his arm,"Sorry about him."
"It's ok." I laughed
"Let's get some food." Alex said
They all stood up, and went to the assortment of foods. I got some fruits and jello while they tore into whatever the he'll they were serving.
I sat back down at the table, they came after a minute and sat around the table.
"So, Ella." Zarinah said,"What's your story?"
"What do you mean ?" I asked
"Family, and what cancer you got." She said
"Oh, um I have an older brother, my mom passed away, I got a deadbeat dad. I married the love of my life and I have two kids." I said
"How old are you?" Jake asked
"24" I said
"Wow, kids and married?" He said
"Yep." I said
"You know who her husband is?" Alex asked
"A lucky guy?" Jake asked
"Well yes, but he's the guy who created filthy frank." Alex said
"No way." Lyndsey said
"You know who he is?" I asked
"We all watched his videos, but the Wi-Fi in here kinda sucks so we haven't seen his newest videos." Zarinah said
"I've been in some of his videos." I said
"I don't know why we didn't realize that, we all are huge fans." Lyndsey said
"I can get him to come here and meet you." I said
