Feeling used, but I'm
Still missing you and I can't
See the end of this
Just wanna feel your kiss against my lips
And now all this time is passing by
But I still can't seem to tell you why
It hurts me every time I see you
Realize how much I need you
...
Always missing people that I shouldn't be missing
Sometimes you gotta burn some bridges just to create some distance
I know that I control my thoughts and I should stop reminiscing
But I learned from my dad that it's good to have feelings
When love and trust are gone
I guess this is moving on
Everyone I do right does me wrong
So every lonely night, I sing this song
I hate you, I love you
I hate that I love you
Don't want to, but I can't put
Nobody else above you
: I Hate You, I Love You by Gnash ft Olivia O'BrienJah P.O.V.
I was alone. Two whole weeks. Then I finally answered my father's phone call. He was extending the olive branch. He wanted to mend fences and even though I didn't want to, I still got up today because I needed to be around civilization. I regret it more than anything. I wish I would have stayed at home. I didn't wanna see his smiling face or his wife's smiling faces or his mother's smiling face. I could tolerate his kids and their joy for now.
"So PJ, how is Kyan doing?" Patience asked. I felt a twinge in my chest. Kyan, Kyan, Kyan. Fuck Kyan.
"She's doing good. I haven't talked to her in a minute," I replied.
"Are you two no longer together?" Aurora asked.
"Yes," I replied. Then the doorbell rang. Ole Boy stood up to answer it.
"I have a surprise for you," he said as he left.
"I hate surprises," I shrugged.
"What happened with you and Kyan?" Patience asked. Aurora stared at me thoughtfully.
"We weren't seeing eye to eye, no big deal," I replied.
"That's a shame. The kids were looking forward to meeting her," Lisa smiled.
"Yeah, I always wanted a big sister," Patience said.
"Yeah that would have been nice," I stated standing up. I turned to walk out of the dining room.
"Surprise!" Ole Boy and Ole Girl stood in front of me.
"Been a long time since you seen us together hasn't it?" She asked. I wanted to break something. No I wanted to break down and cry. She did this to me. She broke my heart the first time. My thoughts raced off in a million directions as I stared at Eileen. I hadn't spoken to her in three months. Three whole months. And now here she was in front of me.
"Yes. It has."
"We have the most amazing news. Well not that amazing, but you'll love it," she said.
"What is it?" I asked her.
"Well. Prince should I?" She asked. He nodded urging her with a big smile.
"You're coming to Africa with me! My father died and you're next in line to inherit the throne!" She exclaimed. "You're going to be a King! Nevermind the name Prince!"
"Oh My God! My brother is a King!" Patience screamed.
"Can I be a princess?" Destiny asked.
