CHAPTER 22

TAEMIN's POV

I took my phone from my backpocket and looked for Krystal's name. She wasn't in her room so it's better for me to call her. or the others.

"He--" I said when she answered, but it was disconnected before I could even finish the word "HELLO". Great! =_=

"What the heck is happening around here?!" I mumbled to myself. I just went outside of the house after I locked the door and called for a cab to take me to school.

As soon as I got to school, I went straight to our classroom, but my friends aren't there. I was about to ask Minho if he knew where Jeni is but I can't also find him. I went to Year 2 building, 4th floor to go to Amber noona's classroom and look for them. When I got there, they weren't there.

I smell something fishy...

"Yo, Taemin!" I heard someone behind me call my name. I turned to look who it was and saw Eunhyuk hyung waving at me as he walked towards me. It seems like he's panicking.

"Hey, hyung.. Uhh.. Have you seen Amber noona?" I asked him.

"Yeah, I saw her at the gym with your friends. You better go there before it's too late!" he said.

Too late?

"Why?! What happened?" I asked him as he pushed me to the stairs because the elevator's stuck.

"Just hurry up!" he said then continued on pushing me. We ran and I almost stumbled but I kept my balance, then we stopped when we got to the gym's door.

KRYSTAL's POV

Taemin and I got ready for school, but I finished earlier than him. When I was about to knock at his door, somebody grabbed me from behind and just dragged me outside the house while covering my mouth, then they brought me in Kai's car.

When I was freed, I immediately looked who it was and saw Kai standing beside Sulli.

"What the heck was that for?!" I asked them as I tried to go out of the car for Taemin, but it was locked.

"We need to go to school now! We're late! We're the only ones who they're waiting for!" Sulli said while she was putting something in a paper bag.

"What?! Why?!" I asked them. Kai was already driving for school.

"Oh my. What would Taemin feel if his girlfriend forgot his birthday." Sulli said then chuckled.

"No way?! I it his birthday today?! Is it--"

"Yes way, girl! I also thought it's nextweek but.. oh well." Sulli just said then shrugged her shoulders and opened the car door. We arrived already?

"Hey, I think we stopped on the wrong--"

"What, you aren't going to buy something for him?" Kai said then smirked.

"Aishh... Do you have to be so harsh at me?!" I said to them as I stomped my feet. We arrived at the mall. I just bought Taemin a stuffed toy, a panda to be exact. ;">

"Panda?" Kai said with an expression I can't tell.

"What? You don't care because he's not yours." I said then stuck my tongue at him then Sulli and I chuckled.

Kai drove us to school, then went straight to the gym. Amber unppa and Key oppa were fixing the food while Sungmin oppa, Sica unni, Heechul oppa and Jeni were on the designs. Minho was just watching over Jeni. Kai, Sulli and I fixed the gifts.

"Babe, give Eunhyuk the signal. Minnie probably went to look for us by now." Key oppa said to Amber unppa. She just did what she was told, then after a few minutes, the gym's door opened.

"Hello?" he said, then poked his head in. Key oppa made me hold the cake and lit the candle up.

"Happy Birthday!!" they shouted when Taemin got in. I just smiled at him as he walked towards us.

"Happy birthday, baby." I said to him with a smile.

"I thought you guys forgot!" he said then chuckled, and all of them surrounded him and me with the cake.

"Make a wish!" Jeni said then smiled.
