Chapter 28

Sulli's POV

OH MY G!! HE PROPOSED TO ME, RIGHT?! X">

I waited for a ring to appear, but poof. None.

"Where's the ring?" I asked.

"Uhh.. about that..." then he paused and took my hand.

"I sort of.. haven't bought it yet..." he said then let out a sheepish smile.

"What?! You're proposing to her without a ring?!" Krystal said.

"What are you talking about? Of course it's fine. You just have to buy me the ring before this baby comes out!" I chuckled after saying that.

"Hey, how are you going to hide that from school?" Taemin asked.

"Uhmm... To be honest, we haven't talked about it other than this afternoon." Kai said.

"Oh.." Taemin answered.

"I'll stop school. After two months." I just said, then the three of them looked at me.

"What?! No!"Kai said then he took my other hand.

"Honey, I should hide this, okay? I could stay at your condo. I'll just take the 3rd and 4th sem after I give birth to our baby." I said.

I feel sick I want to puke.

"Aish.. I should stop schooling, too. I want to go with you. I told you, I won't leave you again, right? I'll stay by your side no matter what, right?" he said, still holding my hands.

"But what if I-- wait, honey I need to puke..." I said while holding the vomit to come out. I covered my mouth while Kai took something that looked like a basin then gave it to me, and that was when I started vomitting.

Kai kept on rubbing my back as I vomit, while Taemin went out with Krystal to buy food and water. Just a moment passed and a nurse went in.

"Uhm.. Did you drink your medicine?" the nurse asked, but I still wasn't finished. Yep, I also think it's too much vomit. Ew.

"Hey, miss, is it normal if she's vomitting?" Kai asked the nurse, then I (at last) finished. The small basin was almost full. Yuck.

"Yes, sir. Since she's pregnant, it's normal.. but this is too much." the nurse said. Yeah, just as I said. Too much.

"She's sick. I know. But what's with her? I mean, what's her sickness? If it's too much, it's bad, right?" Kai asked as wiped my lips with his towel.

"Uhm... She just had an allergic reaction. She'll be fine by tomorrow, for sure. But today, keep an eye on her." the nurse said.

"I absolutely will." he said. Of course that made my heart jump :')

"Good. Oh, and can you come with me outside? The doctor wants to talk to you." the nurse added.

Kai nodded at the nurse and he kissed my forehead before going out.

Kai's POV

"Paul, the nurse said you wanted to talk to me." I said while approaching him.

"Oh, yes, Kai." Paul, the doctor, said as he put his stethoscope to his neck.

"I'm here now." I said. He used to be my friend's boyfriend so, we're not so formal with each other.

"Your girlfriend's pregnancy is sensitive, simple sickness could mean worse than the usual." he said.

"What are you trying to say?" I answered, getting more nervous every second.

"What I'm trying to say is that Sulli should not leave the hospital unless she becomes better. Or else you could lose your baby, or worse, lose them both." he said. Like, WTH? He was saying good things to us earlier, but it turned opposite for real...

"I can't tell it infront of her because she might get depressed or stressed about it, and that's a bad thing for her." he said.

"When do you think will she be fine?" I finally asked.

"Maybe tomorrow or someday this week, she'll be better.. if she'll keep her meds and eat healthy foods. But we still aren't sure. Just make her feel happy all the time, when you get back home. That'll help her alot with her and your baby." he said and I nodded.

"Ok ok. Thanks bro. Uhmm.. I'll check up on her now, okay?" I said to him then went back to Sulli. God, did I ever mention she was pale? She looks so weak I feel bad about this.. so bad...

"Honey, you alright?" I asked.

"Yep.. Well.. what did doc say?"

"He said you'll be fine as long as you keep your meds and healthy foods." I said then sat on the chair beside her bed.

"Oh... so we can go home tomorrow?" she asked.

"Maybe? I'm not sure, honey. But I guess we'll be back home by this week." I said then kissed her forehead, then went in another couple.

"We bought food and drinks. Let's eat?"Taemin said as he put the paper bags on the table.

"Bro, can I talk to you?" I asked Taemin, then his face was painted with curiosity.

"Y- yeah.. Sure. About what?" he said, then I turned to Sulli and kissed her forehead then told her that I'll go with Taemin outside. Same went with the other couple in the room, so both of us went out.

"What's wrong bro?" he asked.

"It's about Sulli bro.." I said, holding back the tears by my eyes.

"What about her?" he asked with worry.

I started to rub the back of my neck while my other free hand on my forehead.

"She's sick.. I mean seriously sick bro.." I said.

"What?! Wait, I think you're just exaggerating..." he said.

"No.. Paul said it to me. Aish... He said if we're not careful, we might lose the baby.. or worse, both her and our baby.." I said, with nervous, sadness, guilt and anger in me.

"Aigoo.. Wait, before I forget, mom gave me a text message and she said they'll arrive tomorrow and you were right. They're with Sulli's parents." he said. Aishhh.... NOW I'M ALSO SCARED AND WORRIED!! >_<

"AISH.. I ALREADY HAVE TOO MUCH PROBLEMS!!!" I suddenly blasted. I hate this.

"Wait, here she's calling!!" Taemin said then gave me his phone.

"Hey mom." I said as soon as I heard her voice.

"Oh dear, that doesn't sound good.. Everything alright?" she asked. Why does she has to know everything about me?

"Are you coming here tomorrow?" I asked, changing the topic.

I just heard her sigh and said, "Yes, darling. Atually tonight at 2am. Are you going to pick us up?" then Taemin went inside the room.

"Not sure, mom. I'm watching over Sulli here at the hospital." I said, then I heard her gasp.

"Hospital?! Why, what happened?!" she asked, making me hold my breath..
