Chapter 31

Sulli's POV

"Honey.." I said, but I could barely hear myself.

"Hmm??" Kai said, then he leant his ear near me.

"Where's mom and dad?" I said.

"They'll be here in a moment, hon. Don't worry." he said then kissed my forehead, then I heard the door open and saw Kai's mom coming in with her husband.

"Auntie, you came so early.." Amber unpa said.

"Oh my, sweetie, what happened?!" Kai's mom said, then went to me instead of kissing his son first. Then my parents went in too.. and shock was obviously on them.

"Guys, please get out for a sec." Kai said to our friends, and they did.

"What happened?" dad asked.

I sat up with Kai helping me to do so, then I said, "We have to tell you guys something.."

I can see them intently looking at me and Kai. I held his hand very tight.

"We're having a baby.." Kai said, then he wrapped his arm on my shoulder. What seemed like disappointment was on their faces.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of her and our baby." he said.

"We know you would.. but why did you do it? Can't you wait for, maybe your wedding? Or atleast your graduation? You're still young!" mom said.

"We didn't mean to--"

"We did it because we love each other, ma'am. I'm sorry for this, but trust me. I won't let go of your daughter. If I have to, I'll work for us. I won't mind if you won't support us. We deserve it. But please, I'm begging you, don't ever ask us to give our baby up. We--"

"What? What do you mean 'give your baby up'? Who said we won't support you? We didn't say anything like that! What are you thinking?" Kai's mom said.

"Do you think we would let you two go because of this?" dad said, mom kissed my forehead then hugged me.

"My baby's having a baby..." she said, then I realized that she was already crying.

"Mom, don't cry. You should be happy right?" I said, then she let go and looked at me.

"How come you look pale?" dad asked.

"Maybe she didn't drink her meds yet.." Kai said, then he went out to call our friends, and when they went in, he called our parents with him outside and told me he'll just talk to them.

Kai's POV

"I'll go straight to the point because I don't want you guys to think that I'm hiding something. She's sick. Not so sick to affect the baby, but she's having a sensitive pregnancy." I said. Curse these tears that want to escape my eyes.

"Will she be fine?" her mom asked.

"The doctor said she'll be fine as long as she'll maintain her meds.." I aswered.

"I'll take care of her. Even if I have to skip school. I'm serious about it." I said.

"You don't have to do that, Kai." dad said.

"But I want to.. and I HAVE to." I emphasized the word 'have' because Sulli's my responsibility. She'll always be.

"I'll talk to the doctor about this and maybe they have a solution for this." Sulli's dad said as he patted my shoulder.

"We won't let Sulli be a burden to you, and--"

"She wasn't a burden to me. She never will be." I said.

"Aish.. We know you love our daughter so much, okay? Enough of that sweet stuff. It's getting through my intestines." Sulli's dad said, which lightened up the mood.

"Go back inside. Probably your 'honey' is waiting for you. We still have some meetings. And we might talk about your wedding." mom said, then smiled and I did what she said.

"Hon, where are they?" Sulli asked while eating an apple.

"Went to a meeting." I said then smiled.

"So... they know about the baby?" Key hyung asked.

"Yep." Sulli said while smiling. She seemed more alive than she was.

"Can we go home, hon? I really don't want to stay here." she said.

"Okay.. but Paul would come by to check up on you, okay?" I said, and she agreed.

"Hey guys, are you still going to stay? Visiting hours is almost up." Sulli said.

"Jackie, Jeni and I would go back to the dorm." Amber noona said.

"I'll drive you home." Key hyung said.

"Maybe it's better if Taemin and Krystal should stay here with Jessica and Sungmin so you have some people to be with before you drive back to your condo." Amber noona said again before they left.

"Baby, sleep on my lap if you're sleepy, okay?" Taemin said to Krystal.

"Hon, please pass me the apple." Sulli said as she pointed at the table with fruits.
