TAEMIN'S POV

I felt a hunch, but still replied to Amber noona. 

"Where have you been? Send Key hyung a text message will you?! He's worried sick!!"

"Just go here now!!" she replied. She seemed different because of the way she's texting me, but I just did what she told me.

I went to the usual coffee shop and saw her sitting near the counter.

"Ya!! Where have you been?!" I said, as soon as I sat infront of her.

I can see in her face that she's quite unwell. "I was at mom's house, and your mom was there too.."

"You should've told us then!! Especially your boyfriend!!"

"Try to calm down, will you?" She's really different.. I can tell.

"Hey, are you okay?" I touched her forehead. "or do you have anything that you're not telling us?"

"I just.. I gotta tell you this.. I dunno if I should be the one who's telling you this, but.."

"But what? Noona, you're making me nervous.."

"You're.. like.. adopted.."

Adopted? Me? She's got to be kidding me..

"Haha, nice joke noona.. but really what is it?"

"I'm not joking, I'm telling you the truth. I heard it straight from auntie's mouth. I don't know if I was going to believe it, but it's true.."

I froze right there, waiting for her to tell me she was kidding me, but she didn't.. I just kept silent and felt tears in the edge of my eye, so covered my face with my hands.

"I.. I'm sorry.." I felt her hand tapping my shoulder, so I lift up my head and wiped the tears from my eye.

"No, you shouldn't be sorry.. It's not your fault anyway.. Nobody's fault.. And nobody's to blame.."

"But-"

"You know, I should get going, I.." I don't know what else to say, but just stood up and walk away. I could hear her calling me but I just kept on walking.

I don't know where my feet takes me to, but I kept going. What she said kept going on in my mind.

I stopped walking, and saw myself standing near the river. I sat beside it, as what I usually do when I'm depressed.

I looked at my phone and saw Krystal calling me.
