Chapter 24

TAEMIN's POV

"Hurry up! We're late!" Jeni said as she knocked at the room's door so hard.

"Almost done!" Kai shouted then he wore the shirt he was mad about.

"Let's go." I said to him then we went to the gym.

"Jog 3laps for being late. Now." Mr. Seon said just before we went near our classmates.

"But sir, we--"

"Now, it's 10laps. Not because it's your brother's birthday doesn't mean you can be excused at anything." he said, interrupting Kai from talking.

We just did what we were told. Tss, this why we call him the badass teacher. Oh wait, this is so not the beginning of his badass-ism.

"I really hate him." Kai said as we jogged around the gym, halfway on our 3rd lap.

"I feel you, bro." I said, then I saw Krystal with her sister coming in the gym. She seemed to have difficulty in walking.. then I noticed a bandage on her forehead and some bruises on her arm. She stopped walking right after she noticed my prescence coming near.

"What happened?" I asked Sica noona when I stopped infront of them.

"This is nothing, baby. I'll be fine." Krystal said then smiled a little.

"Taemin! I'll add 3more laps if you won't continue!" I heard the bad ass shout.

"What are you talking about?! I saw you walking just now and it was bad that you looked like you could barely walk. That doesn't look ok, baby. Just stay in the clinic." I said.

"No!! No, baby I'd rather stay here than go there alone!" she said. There seems to be something wrong...

"Baby, what happened right there? Tell me." I asked. I'm worrying about her right now...

"Krystal! Jog 5laps! You're late!" Seon-nim shouted.

"She can barely walk!" I shouted, not noticing my hands making a fist. Krystal held my hand to help me cool down a little.

"Then you pay for her." he said.

"Then, I will." I shouted at him.

"Sica noona, can you stay with Krystal in the clinic?" I asked her.

"I'm not sure, Minnie. I still have classes." she said.

"How did you--"

"I saw her at the floor by the stairs and--"

"What?! Krystal, tell me what happened right now!" I shouted out of anger and worry. She just seemed to be scared at something.

"Baby, don't worry okay? I'm fine now, right? Don't--" she said.

"What do you mean don't worry?! You obviously fell from the stairs and got these bruises plus you could hardly walk and you call that okay?! Baby, can't you see that I'm worrying about you?! Geez, this sucks! Why won't you just tell me, huh?" I almost shouted. She just kept quiet, then I felt a hand land on my shoulder, and saw Kai standing beside me.

"Bro, what's wrong? What happened to you?" he asked me then Krystal.

"Let me just tell it to you when we get home, okay?" she said.

"I'm not allowed at your dorm." I said coldly.

"What is happening here?" Mr. Seon suddenly came.

"Sir, can we go home?" I said. Mr. BadAss gave me a suspecting look.

"Can't she go home with her sister?" he asked.

"She lives with me and my cousins sir. Plus, I have the key and nobody can hold it but me." I said as an excuse... I almost forgot about no couples rule.

"Okay. Come with me and I'll give you an excuse slip." he said. He gave an activity to our classmates, then he brought us to his office.

"What happened to you, Krystal?" he asked as he walked ahead of us. I gave her a piggyback ride as we followed him.

"I fell from the stairs.." she said then burried her face on the back of my neck.

"Ooh.. I bet that hurt." he said then we went in to his office. He just wrote something, said some stuff then he let us go.

The whole walk to the gate was silent, until she was able to groan from pain when I put her to stand on her own feet.

"Are you alright?" I asked. She just nodded with a smile. She can't even stand straight.

I hailed a cab and rode until we came to the condo that Kai and I owned. That condo wasn't too far from the school, but close enough if we'll compare it to the dorms.

"Ouch.." she groaned as I tried to carry her at my back.

"Can you walk? Or would you prefer me carrying you on my back?" I asked. She just stood there, so I carried her bridal style.

"Taemin!! Put me down, this is embarassing!!" she said as she hid her face on my chest.

"They don't care." I coldly said. We rode the elevator so it would be faster, then I told her to take the keys in my pocket. She unlocked the door as soon as she took it.

I immediately put her on the couch and sat on the opposite of her.

"What happened? Tell me the truth." I asked her.

"I... I was..."
