Chapter 38

Taemin's POV

"Kai, open up." I said as I knocked the door.

"Coming!" I heard someone inside say, then the door opened. Sulli opened the door.

"Oh my God, Sulli, what happened to you?!" I suprisedly asked as soon as I saw her. Her skin was pale, she's thinner than she was when I last saw her, her eyes are a bit dark like a panda and her voice is a little cracky.

"What? Do I look bad?" she asked, her sad face showed up.

"No, no. It's not that. I was just surprised. It seemed like a long time since the last time we saw each other." I just said, then I went inside. I helped her get to sit on the couch.

"Where's Kai?" I asked as I sat on the couch, opposite to her.

"Went outside to buy food. What brings you here, by the way?" she said.

"To talk. Krystal and I had a fight.." I said, then sighed. Suddenly, the door opened with Kai holding the door knob.

"Honey, look what I-- Oh, Bro. I didn't expect you to come. What's up?" he greeted me as he brought his bags to the kitchen.

"I need someone to talk to. Maybe you two can help." I said. He went back to the living room, and helped Sulli stand up.

"Let's eat first. Good thing I bought many foods." Kai said, then we walked to the dining room. I helped on preparing.

"So, what happened?" he asked as he took a pitcher of water from the fridge.

"Well.. You guys know Suzy?" I asked them.

"No." Kai answered.

"She's our classmate, right?" Sulli said.

"Yeah, Suzy. Well, she actually had a twin. Her name is Sasha. I knew it this afternoon when I noticed her bangs got short when she sat beside me."

"We surely have so many pairs of twins here now, do we?" Kai said on the side with a smile.

"Krystal is your seatmate, right?" Sulli asked as she put food on her plate.

"Yeah, but Mrs. Lev changed the seats again coz you two left. I dunno what that was for. Anyway, Suzy and I had a little chat and she said that her twin is crazy about me. I mean, Sasha was obsessed that she even asks Suzy not to go to school so she'll go as Suzy." I said to them. Both of them have this 'Seriously?' look.

"Seriously? Dude, that's nuts." Kai said, then he chuckled.

"I know! And I was a little creeped out when Suzy told me about when Sulli was on an accident and you called out for help and she came to help you? She said Sasha was--"

"How did these get into your fight with Krystal?" Sulli suddenly said before she took a spoonful of food into her mouth.

"Well.. Suzy went to school that day dripping wet. We were talking, right? And I noticed that she's still wet so I let her borrow my handkerchief, then she told me that Krys was watching. Krystal was actually sitting on the opposite side of mine and I saw how mad her expression was. Then when the classes ended, I saw her out talking to a singing owl."

"Who's that singing owl?" Sulli said.

"We have a singing owl in school?!" Kai asked dumbly.

"You know D.O.? He's the singing owl." I said. Both of them had an 'O' shaped lips.

"Honey, have some more of this." Kai said to Sulli as he put some chicken on her plate.

"No, hon. I'm good. I know how much you love those." she said then smiled at him.
